  1. Well, I won't sort the garbage into what goes into recycling or not while watching. That is suicide in our house.
  2. Meanwhile Barker was pretty good as a panelist. Milt never treated him like he does Sanchez.
  3. Teams know each other very well by this time. Not a lot of surprises they can throw at each other.
  4. LOL. I've done some vacuuming for my wife who asked as we have company this evening. I obviously missed that. But I'm in her good books.
  5. When teams had 32 man rosters they had no room for specialists. If you kicked then you played another position. Most kickers were also punters. There were no return specialists or long snappers. You started somewhere else & did the long snapping. Matter of fact, most Centers could long snap. Bob Swift could long snap. Paul Desjardins before him could long snap. Most younger fans don't seem to realize the CFL existed prior to 1980.
  6. The Bombers look like they've gone to sleep. Edmonton is not playing that great but we're just going thru the motions it seems.
  7. The US forces would probably refuse. Trump would be finished.
  8. Oh be quiet. I just made a comment. Go worry about your Riders.
  9. Maybe. You can't say that as it hasn't happened. Maybe LaPo changes things up to compensate. It comes down to coaching.
  10. He's playing like a rookie wanting to use his legs first than finishing his reads. LaPo ain't helping him though with his playcalling. Pretty vanilla stuff.
  11. Well, that's their problem. If losing one guy causes them to miss the playoffs then it's a flawed offensive philosophy. Other teams dealt with loss of impact players better than Edmonton.
  12. Don't like the way Lankford drops that ball on punts. Great 69 yard punt but he comes forward on his first step after getting the snap holding the ball with just one hand. But that is a minor correction he'd need to work on if he was a full time punter.
  13. Injuries are part of the game. They lost Walker who is one player. The rest of the receiving corps stayed intact. Calgary was competitive until they lost their fourth starting receiver. What happened in Calgary was a legit reason for their downfall but they have issues elsewhere on that team as well. You can't point to the Walker injury & say that's why they missed the playoffs. Besides, Edmonton's defense has been awful this year.
  14. Good for Dunigan not going for the Rod Black bait that the bad 2nd half of the season was due to Derel Walker's injury.
  15. Guess that is what every other HC is saying to their starters who are sitting then? But I get your point. Disagree, though.
  16. Nope. back in the days of 32 man rosters all kinds of players started other positions but also kicked & punted. Example, Don Jonas led the league in passing & scoring as a qb/kicker in 1971. He won the Schenley Award in 1971 as the CFL's MOP.
  17. Maas is a Hervey guy. If fired, I can realistically see him as HC in BC.
  18. Well, they gave us that 80 yard TD. I thought he was touched. But I'll take it!
  19. Williams with the spectacular catch for the Esks TD. Reilly can do that all day long. No one cares anymore. He chucked it all year long & they still missed the playoffs. Ha. Ha. Ha.
  20. Meaningless to Maas? Sure, that's why he's dressing his starters who will play all day. A big eff you to the backups on the Esks by their HC. He's coaching to save his job.
