What good is a qb throwing all over the place & 500 yards offense if they lose? I guess the consolation is the offeensse looked good burning to the ground. Brown threw all over the field. really didn't test the Rider defense on deep routes much. Basically Drew threw 3 touchdown passes but when he had to score late in the game he couldn't. JBR raves about his arm. I don't see it. He threw a lot of underneath & mid range passes. His accuracy was top notch but it wasn't good enough. He can't run to save his lif even when he's healthy. There seems to be no fire with Brown. Just a guy chillin' all the time. Guys in the huddle need to believe that he'll do whatever it takes to win. That was Jake Maier's problem. He inspires no one. The RedBlacks offense is Calgary 2.0. Brown will continue to put up big numbers but how many games will Ottawa win with that defense??

Fletcher would be a natural for the Stamps offense.

Well, tonight not a mention of Dunigan which to means he was fired. If he retired, they'd have been praising his playing & broadcast career. No mention, like he didn't exist the past 25 years tells me he was fired. Matty drinking on air? What??? When?

Don't agree. Brown is no gunslinger. He has a great receiving corps. Put Dunigan in that offense in his prime & it would be lights out. Right now, i just see a lot of flashing reds & amber lights with Brown as a qb.

Maier was third or fourth in the CFL last year in passing but in actuality it doesn't matter,He was all over the field throwing while going nowhere. He never pushes the ball downfield. Same as Brown.

With Brown they can't attack downfield. Just like Maier.

The more I watch Dru Brown play, the more he reminds me of Jake Maier. He looks competent & spreads the ball around but the offense goes nowhere. Except for one drive. He just looks so uninspired just like Maier. Ouelette out, what a joke. They need Dunigan & Barker back. This version of the panel absolutely sucks.

You have an opinion like everyone else here & I respect that. However, as a viewer, I disagree, I'll take LaPo over Suits & Forde in a New York minute. LaPo's going to be busy as TSN is now seriously short staffed with the idiotic layoff of Matt Dunigan & the udden death of Milt Stegall's son. As an aside, I'd hope if you were the Program Director of 620 CKRM, the radio station that did the Bomber game on the Rider Radio Network that you'd give both those guys a talking to & a warning for being totally unprepared & unprofessional.... with the many mistakes they made on the air & didn't seem to care.

Milligan had a season where everything went his way. To think he can duplicate what he did in 2024 or be even better is absurd.

How tragic. My prayers & condolences to Milt, his wife & family. I wonder what happened?

Is Alexander Hollins someone we should try to sign? He was a very dynamic receiver before his knee injury a few years ago. Is he worth a look see?

Maier looked like a qb I wouldn't want on my team. He looked just like he did in Calgary. Maier reminded me of Matt Nichols in his last couple of years. Can't push the ball downfield consistently on his deep throws. below average arm strength. Passes all over the field underneath. Throws 6 yards when he needs ten. Ten yards when he needs 20, etc. Maier seems afraid to take chances & let his receivers work to make contested catches & is just very conservative in his approach. You can't win with a guy like that who play so damned uninspired.
