  1. TrueBlue4Ever, Raimey never had to take a back seat to Lewis. They were backfield partners in 1965 & 66. He got a thousand yards rushing in 1966 while playing with Lewis. I think Art Perkins was the fullback that year. What a million dollar backfield that was with those 3. Raimey, as you said, had the misfortune playing on some really baaaaaaad teams from 1967 thru 1969 so he doesn't get the recognition he should have from modern day fans who know very little about him. Thanks to the CFL never caring about or embracing its past. Dave Raimey was a star at halfback. The proof being that he's in the CFL HOF & how many other Bomber backs on that list can say that?
  2. Ernie Pitts played Tight End for the Bombers on offense. He switched to defensive back full time for the 1967 season & played there until the end of the 1969 season. He was traded in the off season to the Lions for the 1970 season but tragically was shot to death by his wife in September of that year during a domestic dispute in their Denver, Colorado home. https://www.statscrew.com/football/stats/p-pittsern001
  3. They're delaying things to put the screws to the players. That's the only reason. Why can't the bargaining committee continue negotiations without Ambrosie being there if he has other matters to take care of? The CFL could if they wanted to. They chose not too. The closer they get to training camps, the more the panic sets in & the players will fall in line. That seems to be the line of thought. I'm no expert on labour negotiation law but this really stinks to me.
  4. Better yet, Ambrosie quits.
  5. Never ends... https://3downnation.com/2019/04/12/get-wrecked-johnny-manziel-just-called-davis-sanchez-a-*****-on-twitter/
  6. I used Markle as an example. I don't know if he deserves to be there. I don't want to see Ernie Pitts lose out here. He was the best tight end in the CFL in the late 50's to mid 60's.
  7. I think everyone struggled against Johnson. The man is a beast. I wouldn't hold that against Chungh.
  8. When you consider some of the women wrestling today like Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair & Ronda Rousey in the WWE, Sasha seems like a throwback to the Divas era.
  9. Be a shame not to include tight ends in this as we had some good ones in Ernie Pitts & Paul Markle. Just because tight ends aren't used anymore they deserve o be recognized as well. I suggest we vote for 3 receivers. Wideout, slot & tight end.
  10. That Dundon guy is a dumb dumb. Talk about indentured servitude. He ceases operation of the league but prevents players from continuing to earn a living.
  11. Agree. Ambrosie is a snake.
  12. This wasn't a homework assignment.
  13. Training camps open mid May. How can you say they have time?
  14. Amazing how Ambrosie can't multi task.
  15. Gadzooks here's a thought. Scoring team takes off their shoulder pads & helmets, wear flags & if they score within 20 plays they get 10 points after a TD. If they fail to score then have Jesse Ventura ready to beat up the head coach. Winning coach gets to bag a cheerleader or help give birth to a hand.
  16. We looked like we ran out of gas.
  17. Anson Mount has done a great job. I guess his time is coming to an end.
  18. It seems every Commissioner we hire with the exception of Mark Cohon seems to go insane on the job. Ambrosie no different. To me, he's a huge disappointmemnt.
  19. Not true. In the original series he lost ONE case to DA Hamilton Burger.
  20. Except it's Jake Ireland in the command centre & he continues to screw over every team.... Just because he can. Don't like the second coaches challenge. Guys like Jason Maas will just save it to throw a phantom challenge as he has nothing to lose.
  21. It's sad that the CFL seems to not care about former players & its own history. A halfback like Dave Raimey… no video of him anywhere running with the football. Yet one of the greatest & most exciting players to ever play in this league. A CFL Hall of Famer. It's just so hard to understand.
  22. Bill Amesbury had a sex change operation & is now Barbra Amesbury.
  23. Just gimmicks. Three point conversions? Why not make it another 6?
  24. Related in the sense as to why I didn't agree with legalization of weed. Otherwise had we not gone through this ordeal, I probably wouldn't have cared.
