I watched that game. He has wheels. Can he run! And throws a nice ball as well although Baylor is definitely a run first offense. I think Brewer's height will hold him back from the NFL. I used to love Rob McLaren as a linebacker. He played so well for the Bombers & then went on to star on the Eskimo dynasty teams of 1978-82 but as good as he was, he wasn't at the same level of play as Jones & West.

Every team should have tons of cap room with half to three quarters of every roster open. The question is, how many impact FA's will teams lose when other teams start chasing them?

So, at your job you don't work from the beginning of December to Xmas because of family time? You'll probably get the standard time off for Xmas & Boxing Day as well as NYD like everybody else unless you booked holidays. Otherwise, you're at work with your boss expecting you to do your job in December. I appreciate your comments & what you said WBBFanWest. I did read the article. However, the CFL put itself in this situation with contracts expiring on nearly 50% or more of the players in less than 2 months. It is what it is so they need to fix it fast. During the last CBA negotiations the issue of free agents wasn't an issue as players signed new deals while negotiations continued so I don't know what changed to create the contractual mess they have now with the players. I also recall the last CBA negotiations went right into May & was very rancorous which doesn't bode well for these negotiations. The league refusing to pay bonuses until a new CBA is reached hasn't helped as it's angered the CFLPA.

I've never seen a league so poorly run. Everything is in chaos.

Yep, figured so. Just mosey on slowly, take a month off & then ease into negotiations at a snail's pace while Rome burns around these idiots. Imagine if Banting & Best had the same attitude about priorities that these guys do. They'd have died long ago without discovering insulin. Ambrosie is more worried about finding a place on every roster for some Mexican players then coming to an agreement on a new CBA in time that the season isn't totally screwed up with all the FA's that need to be signed.

They were truly something to watch. Add in Less Browne & Rod Hill on the corners & well, what more can you say??? Total dominace. What a defense.

What was the point of the video? Was it sarcasm by a desperate actor going down? Or someone who truly believes he is innocent? But then there's that sexual assault charge in front of him now coming at him like a runaway freight train. He's going to get squashed methinks.

James West was primarily outside as he played with Greg Battle. He could play inside as he did with the Stamps before he came to the Bombers & did so on occassion but OLB is where he made his mark as a Bomber. West will never be considered the all time MLB with the Bombers but may do so as an OLB. Phil Minnick was a MLB. One of the best. Due to a serious knee injury he was moved to the outside after he missed the entire 1971 season & was replaced by another outstanding MLB Mickey Doyle. Minnick made his name as a MLB & not an OLB. he should be inside. He wasn't the same player after his injury although he did play well. CFL did not keep tackling stats during his playing career. Harry Walters was an outstanding MLB for the Bombers from 1975 thru the 78 season. Hard hitting linebacker who was an all star as I recall. He deserves to be on this list as a MLB. He was a CFL West Division All Star in 1975 & 76. An All Canadian at MLB as well in 1976. He had 12 interceptions for 190 yards. The CFL did not keep tackling stats during that time which is a shame but he was as I recall a tackling machine.
