Thanks to their equipment manager of 50 years who is colour blind. Both teams have black helmets like go figure. This is all on George Hopkins. He was the one who brought in the black helmets, decides on what the team wears on Game Day & was the man behind the ugly black in their uniforms.

I agree. I thought the Bombers having their mini camp in Winnipeg was brilliant. Instead of Bradenton, FLA at the IMG facilities. Other CFLteams didn't do that so as you say JCon, it was an opportunity lost. Sometimes, I wonder about the close mindedness of the CFLPA. Like I said before, it's run by a bunch of entitled overpaid Canadian offensive linemen who do nothing but to protect what is already theirs at the expense of players at other positions.

I do know some people like that. They think the NFL is superior so they watch the NFL. I think there are many more down east with that mindset rather than in Winnipeg. Aswell as on the Lower Mainland as they are much closer to NFL cities than we are here in Calgary or in Winnipeg.

Ricky's extremely lucky to be able to still walk & not be paralyzed from the neck down. I'm sure if Henry Burris had any thoughts of coming back that this probably changed his mind. I hope he stays in the game as a qb coach once he is healthy enough to come back.

Man, do you have that right! With 9 teams, theses scheduling conflicts exist. Take the Stamps-Esks LD rematch. For years, they used to play LD Monday & then the following Friday. Now they play the following Saturday. They should be playing the following Sunday but TSN won't let them. TSN shouldn't dictate the schedule when it relates to player safety but they unfortunately do.

I doubt there are many here who would cheer when a player from another team gets hurt. Especially when it is a head injury. No one said. "LOL Collaros. You're hurt, ha, ha, ha". What people are enjoying is watching the Rider fanbase & the team itself taking some smack being shot back at them. The Riders may not be as good as they think & the arrogance shown by that tweet... No other team would ever do that. I don't take any joy seeing Zach Collaros suffer thru another concussion. But it doesn't mean I don't enjoy seeing the Riders & their fans suffer instead.

The Stamps had one inter squad game this season. More of a controlled scrimmage. It's part of training camp. It's done every year. The Stamps didn't play that first exhibition week. They then played 2 games in 5 days. I have not heard one story about the players not wanting to play these games. Link?

Damn straight. The Riders have absolutely no class. Looks good on them. Now all they have is Bridge,which ain't much. One hit away from the basement.

All I know is the Rider official twitter account tweeted after Durant stole $70,000 from the Bombers & Nichols was injured something like, "Hey Bombers how's your qb situation?" And Burgess is bitching about the people here boasting about Collaros injury? Whatever... Where's the so called class from the Riders? I just see it as Karma.

That ship has sailed. He threw for something like 278 yards & a couple of touchdowns but his team really went nowhere on the field. Just up & down between the 35 yard lines. Need ten yards for a first down, okay throw for eight. Imperative he doesn't get sacked. He gets sacked. Don't throw a pick. He throws a pick. Provide leadership. No leadership given. Vince Lombardi couldn't win with a qb like that.

When Patrick Stewart landed the role of Jean Luc Picard in 1987, he was a little known but successful British stage & Shakesperian actor. He didn't know all that much about Star Trek & said that he took the role because he needed the money but did not like the thought of playing in a sci fi tv series. He looked down upon the role as well as being beneath him at the time. Of course, thirty years , one successful tv series now in endless reruns all around the world, four motion pictures & tens of millions of dollars later, I guess his perspective has changed.

You're welcome. Very hard to lose a parent. The family is never the same after. Even as adult children, it's never the same.

Lots of speculation about how Roseanne's absence will affect the new sitcom. How the characters will handle the loss. All I know is that as as an adult, I've lost both my parents & a sister. Luckily, I had my own family to lean on during those tough times. I just hope that the series writers realize that we all handle grief differently but life must go on. That the series doesn't become maudlin.

That's why. The CFLPA is all about protecting it's own. Less evaluation time means keeping job for veterans. Do you think entitled overpaid Canadian OL who control the players association care about rookies at other positions especially Americans? No chance.

I see the Bomber depth chart as follows at qb & I'm totally okay with it. 1. Nichols 2. Streveler 3. Bennett Odd man out is Gale once Nichols can play.
