Bludgeon Brothers, ugh. Two losers getting a push. Luke Harper could do well on his own. Rowan is just bad. Harper is the one who makes Rowan look good.
-
The Jets will be well rested.
-
Captain Obvious with a prediction. If the Jets score more goals than the Preds every game they'll win the series.

You fled from the cops? I take "been there" to mean just that. -
Roy Finch Arrested for Assaulting Police

That would be very hard to do. -
You want to argue about a player in a series over 30 years ago saying he was soft? Just enjoy the team we have now & what they are trying to accomplish.
-
Hawerchuk carried the Jets on his back a lot of times. Especially in 81-82 when there wasn't much talent. You never saw him play & I did. I don't agree.
-
Hawerchuk was never soft. I had Jets season tickets & watched him play many games. He could be lazy at times when he was a younger player if things didn't go his way he matured as he got older & more experienced but he was never soft.
-
Hawerchuk soft? What?

Ha, you're in Parkland, right? Just a stone's throw away from me. Across Canyon Meadows Drive from Bonavista. Do you still live there? I was in Winnipeg 3 weeks ago. My son came to check on our house & there was a Bobcat standing in our front yard. He took a picture of it from the safety of his car.
-
I live in the Deep South (as we call it here) in Lake Bonavista.

Watch, this year...
-
That was 30 years ago. Different team. We could never match up with the Oilers of the 80's. Now, teams have to match up with us.

The weather here always drives me nuts. Snow in August. Golfing in February. Plus 15 in January & minus 15 in April. This year is the worst winter I have ever experienced.

I think Big Show would be dead by now had he not have had surgery. He's a lucky man that he was diagnosed & was taken care of.
-
Yeah, those 2 got a small reaction that's for sure.
-
Absolutely. If it wasn't for you & others here I'd have never heard of Kenny Omega.

My wife has a great job with the Tom Baker Cancer Centre here in Calgary. I also work here. One of my 2 sons was born here. The other one is married & they live here My other son is getting married this summer & will be living in Seattle. Short 12 hour drive to the Emerald City or a bit over an hour by air. My teams are the Jets & Bombers but our lives are in Calgary.

Don't you think the name of the place should be the RedBlack Club? Oh wait. Just sayin'. The CFL has 9 teams. It used to be that there were two teams named Roughriders or Rough Riders just with different spelling. People used to think that was stupid. Now we have 9 separate team names . However, we have 2 teams with the same colours & virtually the same uniform design in Calgary & Ottawa. That only happens in the CFL. I have lived in Calgary nearly 30 years. I don't see the support for the Stamps that you claim there is. The City doesn't love the team. I see nothing but indifference. Kids don't wear Stamps jerseys to school. People don't wear Stampeder ball caps or tee shirts. At the water coolers, in offices & businesses around the city, the Stamps don't come up in conversations. Cars & trucks don't have as many white horse logos as there used to be 20 years ago. Nobody talks about the Stamps except how they choke & to be honest they certainly do a fine job of that. To the point that The Choke is expected now by Calgarians. The Flames really do suck so that explains the tepid reaction of the fans to the hockey team. The Flames owners don't care about the Stamps. They have no plans for a new stadium. I don't believe they ever had. The Mayor & City Council don't care about the Stamps. They won't spend a penny towards a new stadium. Season ticket sales are down. Casual fans stay home. Do fans here love the Stamps? More like a core of 24-26,000 in a city of 1.4 million. They are looked upon as chokers. A team with outstanding talent, great coaching & a respected GM but seemingly always falling short the last game of the season. So, 13-5, 14-4 & 15-3 mean nothing to football fans here if the Stamps can't win their very last game of the season. They've seen it too many times as The Choke is in. That's how I see it having lived here since 1990.

When Lyle Bauer was with the Stamps he started a fan forum here. When he left the Stamps were quick to cancel it permanently much to the chagrin of Calgary fans. They had at least 300 fans at the last one three years ago & it was a huge success. However, the Stamps Choke is always on year after year & they keep blowing playoff games & Grey Cups to inferior teams. The way I see it, the Stamps are out of touch with their shrinking fanbase. I don't think management wants to hear it in spades from disgruntled Stamps fans demanding answers. Easier to cancel, claim all is fine with the world & not be accountable to their fans.

Tyler was my facebook friend but we seldom, if ever talked. I followed his twitter account. I have other friends on facebook who knew him very well & are devaststed. So sad. RIP Tyler.

I only watch WWE. TNA I never watch. ROH if nothing else is on. As Sweep The Leg said, if Omega's name didn't come up here, I'd have never heard of him.

It's almost a guarantee. Reed did it to Hebert.
