We have no one that will make the contested catches like we saw last night in the Lions/Riders game. We have the worst set of receivers in the CFL. Even worse than the Als. They don't stack up to other teams. If Nichols isn't missing them downfield then they're dropping passes. We can't go deep nor can our receivers fight for the ball & make the catch. I like what Wolitarsky did yesterday & he should be used more but he's no deep threat.

We haven't been a great team pressuring the qb with our DL under Hall. We need blitz packages to help do that & we get burned a lot because opposing qbs pick it up. Yeah, we did have pressure first half & then in the second half nothing from our DL. We start blitzing & poof big plays & touchdowns.

I like it.

When I see Lulay scramble around when he's running & the tacklers are closing in... That his career will be over.

Coaches can criticize because they're not on the field but they have to be careful doing it. Coaches will talk in generalities as in, "We didn't make plays downfield" but won't name any names, for example. Teammates criticizing others is dangerous because TBH, no one plays a perfect game. Until that happens any player that does criticize should say nothing because at some point they probably screwed up in a game. Players play & coaches coach.

I don't think people will be so quick to forget this time. That's 2 zingers in 2 weeks. What has happened to the guy??? It's like he's melting down right in front of our eyes.

That was such bullshit. How can he say a week later the booing was no big deal when he said at the time that it was?

Nothing good can come from a qb blaming others for his poor performance. Even if it's true. My son played at SFU & by the time he got there he knew he always had to blame himself if the offense sputtered. To never blame a teammate. Leaders put the responsibility on their shoulders & don't spread it around.

Oh, the TSN panel roasts Nichols for saying on CJOB that no one was getting open during the game. Especially Milt who said if he was a receiver should he go to the media if he was always open & Nichols wasn't throwing to him? Dunigan just said Nichols needs to keep his mouth shut. Looks like there are fractures in the locker room. Coach em up. Mike. Good luck with that.

I've seen more big plays from the Lions & Riders receivers than I've seen from the entire Blue Bomber receiving corps thru 10 games. That is sad, gentlemen. We have a team of receivers who just can't make plays. Our receivers as a group have been sub par for years now. It is frustrating to watch & no one in football operations is held accountable.

Yeah, I muttered the same thing myself. LaPo's play calling has been dreadful the last 2 games. MOS isn't helping either.

MOS will not make a change. I think Streveler should play but not start.

Our deep threat is non existent. When we do go deep we can't connect. Certainly don't have anyone who can catch like Burnham & Evans.

Again, watching other receivers do things our guys can't. Have to wonder why we are so weak overall at the receiver position?

Did Lulay just get hurt? He sure ran off the field fast after that Cameron Judge sack. Hopefully he's just pissed off.

I'd say not. We've never had a great push from our DL. We have to blitz to get pressure & we get burned. Our DL isn't good enough to pressure on its own.

They aren't Canadian issues either. They are American. Like receiver & defensive line.
