Thought we were talking about the Riders making a trade because of Glenn's injury.

I doubt that jones would be interested in Davis. They already have 2 inexperienced qbs now. Why would he want a third?

Dunigan reacted like WTH???

It's all political.

Totally agree!!!

Oh yeah, they had Bischoff being replaced by Ric Flair at WCW offices & the guy working setting up the ring being yelled at by some fat old guy who kept saying, "You work for me now!!" Unbelievable.

Happened to watch an episode of Monday Nitro from early 1999 replayed on the WWE Network last night about a week after Hulk Hogan defeated Kevin Nash with the infamous finger poke to win the WCW Championship on one of their pay per views. I had forgotten just how bad the last version of the nWo was & how it & that finger poke probably killed WCW. They even had a segment with Nash & Hogan sitting together in a tv studio discussing the poke & showing it again. Nash calmly telling Hogan that poke had more power than he ever experienced before. How it stunned him & knocked him over. Just a crazy, crazy segment. Goldbeg later said in an interview that Nitro was all about Hogan & Nash & that they were giving the finger to the rest of WCW & the wrestling world. The entire show was about the nWo. In 3 hours, maybe about 4 or 5 matches. Conan was tased by Scott Hall. The Giant (Big Show) tased by Hall. Goldberg was tased by Nash. All were spray painted. Hogan & nWo was accompanied to the ring by actual Hells Angels members on bikes. Every match was interfered with by the nWo. You could see how other wrestlers who deserved a push were held down by these guys. The other problem was the number of mid carders who were nWo members. When you have someone like Disco Inferno involved, the angle is bad. Fans complain about Raw & Smackdown today. It's still head & shoulders above the hot pile of steaming garbage WCW served up every week on Nitro & Thunder.

Feel bad for Travis Lulay. Injuring his knee last night is very sad for the guy. He's a class act & I don't think he wants to go out like this but it's going to be a year (at least) of rehab after surgery for a torn right ACL so his career may be over.

Als D are pretty good but when their offense can't move the ball every game & they're out there for 3/4 of the game they can't help to give up points. If the Bombers had their defense we'd be in first place in the West.

CFL to make announcement in Winnipeg
SpeedFlex27 replied to Goalie's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'd debate whether people care about the CFL in Hamilton. Especially with the mess the team is in this year. I remember 30 years of 14-16,000 size crowds before THF was built. Even with good teams. -
The only thing Kavis Reed ever did was forget how to count to 12 & his Riders ST cost them the Grey Cup. Failed as a STC, as a HC so naturally he was GM material.

Boris Bede takes his time to kick the FG & it's blocked.

Montreal is just an all around bad football team.

Suitor again with his ongoing man love for Jennings.

So, how does Black keep his job even though he is reviled by most CFL fans?

Like WTH??? This isn't deserving of it's own thread & could just be a post in another discussion.

Labour Day Classic: Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan
SpeedFlex27 replied to Rich's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
What's the difference between this play & faking an injury? See link. What about the integrity of the game??? Faking an injury just like running the low life play in the video below gets into that territory & it's too easy to say, "Oh everybody does it so it's okay". To me, just like that football play, falling down like being shot before the ball is snapped to fake an injury is a lie so therefore it's cheating. Just like that football play is a lie as it has nothing to do with needing a different football. What is that football coach teaching his players? That it's okay to break the rules to win. Just like faking an injury in order to win. BTW, it's my understanding that Football USA has banned this play from being run. Any coach that does is subject to suspension. -
When is construction starting on 300 Main? Why do companies make announcements on huge projects that are still years away from starting? Skycity is another. Looks like it'll never get built.

Delay of Game is not within the rules. No ref will call it, that's the problem. They're afraid that they'll penalize a team with a legit injury. But don't think for a moment faking injuries is within the rules.
