We were in the qb wilderness for a decade or more. Nichols comes in & we've been winning ever since. Yet to some fans like Northern Skunk it just isn't good enough. Which shows that the level of their understanding for the Bombers is lacking. Blaming Nichols saying we could do better with another qb is absolutely mind boggling. Our defense was the problem & may still be when we start playing western teams again. I'm being nice here because I don't want Northern Skunk to think I'm rude. But he's still clueless. We'd be a 1-6 or 2-5 team without Nichols. I'm glad he's on our side. And I ask again Northern Skunk, who out there as a backup qb & available would be better??? Can't have Ray, Manziel, Harris, Reilly, Masoli, Lulay or Mitchell. They play for other teams. So who?

I think he just can't get it done. We'll see. Drew Willy has put up impressive numbers too. Never wins. They're 2-4.

It's not so much Suitor is biased ( & he is). It's how he just goes on & on & on about certain players. Like Jonathan Jennings. He is only one in a long list of qbs he fawns over & keeps telling us how great he is when he clearly isn't. It just gets so tiring listening to the same thing every game.

It wasn't dirty. He hit him shoulder level. Didn't spear him or go low. It was a clean hit as far as I saw. It didn't look late to me.

Yet he still bounces so teams may think there is some potential left. I think coaching is a major issue with the Als & has been since Trestman left.

The Als look like the 2013 Blue Bombers. That's what I took from that game last night .Just how totally ineffective the Als were offensively like the Bombers were that season.

Or coaching as in KJ not preparing him to see. It all comes back to preparation by the players & OC. Players need help & if his coach can't give it then it's a huge problem.

Johnny Manziel isn't any taller than Vernon Adams. What happened to Adams awaits Johnny Football every week for the rest of the season. I think Manziel finally realizes just how badly he screwed his career in Cleveland. Playing in the NFL is a privilege & he just threw it away. There are lots of talented players who should be there who never make it & now he can take his place at the back of the line. He was given everything to succeed & didn't care by throwing it all away. You could see that look of resignation on his face every time TSN showed him on the sidelines which was about 300 times last night. . What a hard life lesson as he may never get back. I wish him well. I think he really is trying but to be dealt to that team. That is a huge blow.
