Incredible as it is I think it speaks to his professionalism as a player.
-
I didn't say it was useless as coaches need to appraise talent while forming a team but you can't base future performance on it either as there are so many variables.
-
LeFevour can't even do that.
-
I think it's because have the worst tandem of backup qbs in the CFL.
-
Don't agree. He's a Rider so around here we discount ability by a further 20%. Bridge has a funny style of throwing the ball but even with that LeFevour isn't his equal.
-
Bridge is a much better passer than LeFevour. I'd take him over Le Fevour in a flash. I didn't know how bad he was until we played Calgary & their B Team defense. Conditions were bad but Nichols would have had decent numbers.

Those dumbasses could shut down the government. What idiots. Well America, you get the government you deserve.
-
Pre season? You can't use that for any real comparison. Defenses play vanilla. He might have been facing guys from the 5th to 7th round. Half the players from that game never made it to the regular season.
-
I'd throw up if Bond became a Rider.
-
Why wouldn't they? They brought back Hurl as the starting MLB so why not go for the double.
-
The thing is they won't.
-
Then quit hallucinating. There are detox & counselling programs you can get help with.
-
Not Neufeld!! This decision is about as rational as going back to Hurl as MLB.
-
I've watched the Big Blue more than a few games & history says Patrick Neufeld can't be a long term starter as he has injury issues which keeps him out for long stretches. It happened when he was with the Riders. It happened in 14, 15 & 16 until he was eventually replaced as a starting guard. Now, they want to go back to him? This makes about as much sense as giving Sam Hurl the starting MLB spot when we all knew he couldn't start back in 2015. Only Mike O'Shea & Kyle Walters thought otherwise & we know what happened last season with Hurl back in there. It didn't work. Depending on Patrick Neufeld to be our long term starter is rolling the dice. What started the turnaround with the Bombers a couple of years ago??? Starting Travis Bond on our offensive line. Messing with it by playing Neufeld is a scary thing. Our backups will end up playing more than him which won't be good. The same ridiculous rationale for playing Hurl is going into this decision if Travis Bond leaves & signs elsewhere.

You have to get over this. We aren't the same bad football team we were a few years ago. The 2018 Alouettes are the Bombers of 2013.
-
Washington State qb Tyler Hilinski, a sophomore was found dead today from a single gunshot wound to the head. A suicide note was left. Hilinski was expected to be the starter next season. He was 21.
-
Remember last time we did that? And Neufeld was part of that. He barely played when he started. I don't know how things will be any different this time.
-
Ascension just aren't very good to be honest.
-
Yeah, I like that. I'm all for signing Durant. Davis is a slug whose had 3 years to figure it out. LeFevour. Is. Just. Awful. Get rid of him. Having a short yardage qb with no passing skills is just too much to sacrifice in the long term.

Top 10 Greatest Bomber Moments of All Time

I remember Khari Jones father used to post as well. We had some interesting private conversations about football in general. What it was like for him as a Dad having a son who played D1 NCAA football at UC Davis & the CFL. He was interested in my son who at the time was going to NCAA football camps as a high school qb hoping to get noticed. He was a nice man but I lost track of him once Khari left the Bombers & finished his career with the Stampeders. -

Man, I could go waaaaaay back on this one. The 1965 Western Final. Kenny Ploen hits flanker Ken Nielsen for the winning score vs the Stamps at McMahon Stadium. A 109 yard touchdown reception late in the fourth quarter! I still remember Jack Wells with the call & Ed Kotowich doing analysis on CKY AM. Man, that was exciting. Sorta like yesterday with the Vikings. -
Yeah, is he still doing time? With the Canadian justice system, I'm sure he was out years ago.
-
They could have pursued him harder had they wanted to. I guess we didn't.
-
I knew Brian Jack. He was the manager of the store upstairs at the Provencher Ave Fit Stop where all the Bombers worked out at that time.
