  1. Man, this love on TSN for Jonathan Jennings... I look at him & all I see is a guy with great athletic talent who keeps making big mistakes at the most inopportune time for the Lions.
  2. So, Hank is now doing halftime spots for TSN? This, after he trashed the panel last year because he felt they didn't respect him. Instead of sticking to his guns & not working for TSN, he's now getting paid to do it. Funny how money changed his mind.
  3. A miss is a miss. Crapigna can comfort & try to convince himself all he wants into thinking he hit it well. It was going wide. Had it been 5 yards further back it'd have been a clean miss. The guy choked on 2 kicks in 2 games.
  4. I always thought he likes the Lions a lot more than the Riders as he was born & raised on the Left Coast.
  5. In fairness to Suitor saying Oh no can mean so many things. Like saying Oh no Crapigna missed the second FG in 2 games which means he could be cut. Oh no how the Riders let the game slip away. I don't think he hates the Bombers.
  6. That Goosen oenalty was non existent yet the officlas called it.
  7. That was funny. Probably would have been lame if Cena was a part of it.
  8. I'll make a prediction. The Esks will sign Franklin to a new contract & trade Reilly to the Argos. He'll take over from Ray. The Riders will never see the guy. That or he goes to the NFL.
  9. The Rider fan who is a Durant fan sure thinks it's a bad move. He's sure not happy.
  10. Hard to believe a guy who was so good as a DC could be such a train wreck as a head coach.
  11. I think Burke's head coaching tenure here burnt him out as a coach. He went to Toronto as their DC after being fired here & then resigned a year later. I don't know if he's even in the game coaching anywhere anymore.
  12. Kelly might have been a decent coach but he was a control freak who did not trust anyone which led to his failure. The man became paranoid over the littlest of things. He never listened to anyone & felt that he could do whatever he wanted. Treated people like crap. Including the media, fans on the call in portion of The Coaches Show as well as that infamous interview on the radio after a game in Montreal where he got upset with the questions Bob Irving & Mitch Zalnasky were asking. He deserved everything that happened to him.
  13. Because he had more talent. I think Burke even though he may have had the worst team of all time still is a worse coach. Useless as **** on a bull.
  14. It's hard to believe it when I say this but Reinbold had a better team. He may have had TJ Rubley but he was better than Jason Boltus & Justin Goltz.
  15. They have a massive north end zone with 2 decks. We don't have that. I look at Mosaic & I don't see a lot of IGF in it. Both are pretty much unique.
  16. In my Top 3 all time worst... See above.
  17. Wish you had an option for Other... I go back more than most of you do. The worst coaches I remember are: 1) Joe Zaleski as he was incapable of working with a young team & getting them ready to play. He was a former qb in the 50's with the Bombers & became an offensive assistant under Bud Grant. He had nothing but All Stars to work with during those Grey Cup years. When all these players retired & he took over it was a case of being in over his head. 2) Jeff Reinbold. A coach who wowed the Bombers during the interview process but didn't have the experience needed to rebuild the team in the mid 90's. He really struggled in the years he was here. 3) Tim Burke. We all thought he was a defensive guru being the best DC in the CFL & the next one in line just waiting for a head coaching position. When he took over we quickly saw that he wasn't at all ready to handle the circus that was the Bombers in 2012 & 13. Joe Mack put his reputation on the line hiring Burke after firing LaPo & it became a disaster. He had no answers to any of the questions, admitted he didn't know how to fix things & looked like he was going to cry most days especially after loss after another crushing loss. I'd rate Burke the all time worst.
  18. You're missing the entire point.
  19. Have to worry about the ball popping out when a back struggles for more yards. That happens a lot.
  20. Well, the alternate Chris Jones said in his interview that if they could have seen Dressler on the field they'd have killed him/
  21. O'Shea was a gambler. Lucky he had Medlock so he knew when to fold 'em when it came to running the ball then.
  22. Dressler was the heart of that Rider team. He knew what it took to win unlike some of the athletically freaky looking guys you have now. Carter, pfft... talk about a headcase. It's all about him.
