Right now yeah, I'd be happier with a loss so we have a better chance in the Draft Lottery. What other hope do we have? I expected a lot more from this team. What I find frustrating is ownership's unerring loyalty in Cheveldayoff & Maurice. That they seem to have "jobs for life" with this team. And all the bad personnel & questionabledecisions that go along with it.

No, What we need is a legit starter & Hellebuyck can spell him off when he needs to as his backup. You keep pumping this guy's tires like he's the second coming of Ken Dryden. More like the second coming of Andre Racicot.

I don't think Chevy or Maurice come to work everyday worrying about their jobs like they would if they were with the Leafs, Canadiens, Red Wings or Chicago. They should be worried but they're not.

Starter. We don't have one now. We have a guy struggling to play & find his way.

They have to bring in a UFA next season. If it means they'll be overpaying then so be it. We can't throw away another year in net as we did this season. The Jets with solid goaltending could be a contender for at least a playoff spot. They aren't with the goaltending they're getting now. Yeah, they won last night with Helleybuyck in goal but how may have they lost because he couldn't make the save when he had to? They can't have another young goalie & a youth movement in net. So, throw away Option 1. Even Option 2 won't work. There shouldn't be a competition. Hellebuyck should backup. If fans want him to develop then let him develop behind a veteran. Play 20 games & see what happens.

And the team that doesn't win makes changes. All except the Jets. They get a pass because we should just be glad we have a team in the NHL.

The guy is a professional hockey player. Hellebuyck gets paid to win. Not to play. We can spin our wheels on the guy or move on to someone better. Cheveldayoff got us in this situation by overestimating his value as a player & making him the #1 goalie here when he clearly wasn't ready. I have no interest in waiting if he develops. If he does with us great. If not, then maybe with another team. That happens all the time so if it happens then so be it. But to wait to find out if he does develop into a legit #1 when goaltending is killing us nearly every game? Sorry no.

Why have any Canadians then?

Not convinced about Hellebuyck. I remember Marc Behrend. He was supposed to be the first great American goalie for the Jets 1.0 & he fizzled out in the 80's. Now we've got The Next One in Connor Hellebuyck. As I said before, I've never seen anything from Helle that shows me he has the potential to be the quality starting goalie long term that a couple of you guys keep saying he is. He doesn't need a quality backup behind him. He needs to be the backup or belongs in the AHL. We need to do something at that position. Fast. Marc Behrend

They are a disappointment. Everything sucks from the goaltending out. Some bright spots offensively with Laine & Ehlers as well as Wheeler & Scheifle. Trouba has played well since his return. However, more scrutiny should be on this entire organization & the way it's trying to build a contender. It's about time they were questioned.

When the people in charge think they matter more than the locker room themselves that is when the problems start. And have continued now for nearly 5 years on Raw. Hunter in his 40's can still wrestle. I don't know how much but I have a feeling if he wasn't married to Stephanie he'd still be going full time. The problem is he squashes everyone. Then there's Stephanie & we have had long discussions about her. Together those 2 are killing Raw. Things won't change unfortunately. You can't tell them anything else as they won't listen.

Chasing the ever elusive NFL dream. Really good CFL player but there are a hundred guys down there as good or better than him.

I find Shane lets Bryant get more air time to do his GM thing so the show works better. Whereas Stephanie & Triple H have to have more TV time than Foley. Shane doesn't throw his weight around as a heel. But it's WrestleMania time so Shane has to go to work in the ring once again.

TF, SD is the better show by a mile... For me, Raw is such a turnoff that I really don't care about SD anymore. But Shane & Daniel Bryant at least have chemistry while Foley & Stephanie sure don't. It's a shame Raw is dragging everything down with it.

Parents are a problem in any sport. Thing is, where are the parents of the other kids to put this Dad in his place & to tell him to shut the hell up? Curling is a bit different from hockey & football that way. There are only 4 players with no true head coach unless they are a nationally ranked team. I used to be a head football coach & I never let parents act that way around me. I cut a kid once on the spot because the father was an *******. He gave me & one of my assistant grief over a number of practices making us know just how unhappy he was. I just said enough & cut the kid. He gave me no other as he was becoming more disrespectful & beligerent. We don't get paid as coaches & don't need Daddy demanding more playing time as well as yelling & cursing us out. I never regretted doing it, either. He was shocked & went from being angry to begging me to change my mind which I didn't. Hopefully, he learned his lesson. I just remember the kid crying going to the car & his wife screaching at the guy just before she closed her car door, "WHAT DID YOU SAY???!!!!" Bet that was a great car ride home for that loser.
