What has Jennings accomplished other than being a turn over machine? You said you'd take Willy over Collaros & that Jennings just has to make better decisions. Willy's a slug. Jennings has a brick between his ears. When it comes to playing qb, I don't want either. And, unlike Collaros, those 2 haven't won a lot of games between them as starters. Like I said, I don't know if Collaros still has it but I'd be willing to give him a chance over the other 2.

No way, TBurgess, you're being sucked in by Jennings athleticism. The same as Wally & KJ did. Jennings athleticism is all he has. He doesn't have the smarts. What does Willy show when he gets the time to play? Deer in the headlights look as he's panicking. I don't know if Collaros still has it but Willy sure doesn't. There's absolutely no upside for Drew Willy.

I'd think most was on Jennings. He's terrible. All kinds of athleticism but can't make the right reads or decisions. Guys like KJ thought he was a can't miss kind of player & that he was elite. He sure fooled Wally. Instead he was just a cut above Darian Durant for the worst starting qb in the CFL.

Find a DC who actually plays a middle linebacker. We went back to 2015 using Hurl. That was a case of looking back & not looking forward.

But they won't so how does saying they should change anything? The CFL will still have to go up against the Stanley Cup playoffs & final. It would be a ratings disaster.

Why would the NHL do that? They won't.

Once the NHL season starts (even training camps) the CFL is pushed back to page 3 or deeper on the sports pages around the country. How many media people in Winnipeg or elsewhere would be covering training camp or pre season games? if they started the season the first or second week of June there's be little fanfare on the start of the season. Once our playoffs & GC were played in October then we're dealing with MLB & the start of the NHL season. These are huge conflicts that would make the CFL irrelevant. The GC wouldn't get the national exposure it gets now. The CFL needs MORE & not less coverage.

This will filter down to mainstream society. If you're not concerned about this then I submit that you & others just like to see the headlines. Seeing celebrities go down. Nothing to do with justice but enjoying the proceedings. Kind of like a crowd at a disaster taking it all in.

You'd have the SC playoffs conflict at the beginning of the season as well as the start of the NHL season & World Series at the end. The CFL would be buried. Dumb idea.
