Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL
I wouldn't watch. I don't think many people would. If they do it, it'd be 7 on 7 as there are high school leagues in the US during the summer all over the States so most players would be familiar with the rules.

Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL
If Vince brings forward an actual football league that centers on actual quality of play & the athletes without the gimmicks, stupid story lines & amateurish broadcasting crews then maybe this has a shot if it gets off the ground. I just hope it's not full of patriotic **** to get viewers. I still think the NFL will kick its doors off & people won't just necessarily jump to a new league because of players kneeling for the Stars & Stripes. I hope Trump is involved as then it's a guaranteed failure.

solving a QB
Lombardi despised Super Bowls I & 2. First, he didn't think that the AFL should play the NFL as he felt the rival league was inferior. Especially when it came to Kansas City Chiefs qb Len Dawson who was a failed starter & backup qb with the Steelers before he jumped to the AFL. Second, even though he believed the AFL was inferior, he still felt he & the Packers were under enormous pressure to represent the NFL & to win. He didn't want to be the first NFL head coach to lose to the AFL. He also said he was miserable the week preceding those 2 Super Bowls because of it.

solving a QB
Back in January of 1969, it was like two generations going at it in the Super Bowl. The conservative Baltimore Colts led by Earl Morrall & Johnny Unitas representing the NFL vs the upstart, new & brash New York Jets led by Namath representing the anti establishment AFL. You had to be alive back then to really, truly appreciate the clash of styles between the 2 leagues & just how huge this upset was in professional sports. It sent shockwaves that were felt for years & paved the way for the merger just 2 years later.

I remember Earl Morral & Johnny Unitas. The Colts has 2 qbs with 50's styled brush cuts & high top boots playing for them when they played the (then) ultra cool long haired, Fu Manchu moustache & white shoes Joe Namath & the Jets. I was 13 when that Super Bowl was played. The first one I actually watched.- solving a QB

Kavis Reed has a Joe Mack kinda respect. Oh hey, they work together. LOL!- Wrestling
Killing that guy outside a bar would mess up anyone.- Around The League: 2018 Offseason
Mike Sherman seems like a good man but knows absolutely nothing about the CFL. I feel sorry for him having to work for Kavis Reed & Joe Mack. You know he won't get a lot of help from those 2 & they'll be so busy covering their butts if the Als get off to a bad start.- solving a QB

Gary Crowton? Amazing what failure can do for a resume. Don't be surprised if Jason Boltus is signed by the Als if Crowton is hired. Joe Mack was one of the worst GMs in CFL history yet these failed retreads keep getting jobs. Unbelievable.- Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL
They don't even show the US National Anthem on tv anymore before games. I don't hear or read a lot about continuing angst from Americans anymore. The networks have killed the protests. Eventually the protests will peter out. The players have lost their forum.- Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL
We'll all be happy, happy, joy, joy when Ritchie Hall gets axed. If not, all bets are off.- Wrestling
One day he won't though which is the sad part. He has to be the one to finally say enough is enough. He hasn't hit rock bottom yet. He may never. Alcohol may kill him before he does. Alcoholism is such an insidious disease.- Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL
That thing will be awash in losing money. If Trump endorses it, it'll be guaranteed to fail. Vince may be rich but he's not a fool. At least you'd think...- Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL
Stats? I'm missing something here. Sounds like revisionist history to me.- Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL
Ray Jauch. J.. a... u.. c... h. At the time the USFL was offering up big contracts to players & coaches. Don't begrudge Ray for leaving when he was making twice as much money as he was making here. At least he quit when his contract was up. Unlike Jim Spavital who left the Riders in 1974 when he was their HC & GM while still under contract for the Chicago Fire when the World Football League started play a decade earlier. I was a Jim Spavital fan but he was wrong to do what he did. BTW, it was Ray Jauch who is credited in changing Dieter Brock's game from a sprint out left & sprint out right qb to a player who could pick a defense apart in the pocket with his lightning quick release. Under Ray's tutelage, he learned to see the entire field with his reads & not just the side of the field he was sprinting to. We don't know what the Bombers may have accomplished under Jauch. I don't share your it's "the best thing that ever happened to us" scenario. The Bombers brought in a lot of talent under Jauch & Paul Robson. They were destined to be a great team no matter if Cal Murphy or Ray Jauch coached them.- Around The League: 2018 Offseason
Wally passed him by. That bothered Durant as he's from the Lower Mainland & played all of his football there. Not surprised he didn't wait for free agency & sign with the Lions. I think had Wally retired he might've signed with the Lions. Decided to come back to the Stamps. - solving a QB
