  1. Disagree. FGs aren't normally tried from 61 yards so I don't believe the coach would have been questioned if he gambled. Thirty six seconds left on 3rd & 4 you go for it. If you don't make it then okay you tried the most logical & statistically highest percentage attempt which is to gamble & not kick. if this was the last play then yes you try the FG. That wasn't the time to do that. O'Shea should have put more faith in his offense to get that first down,
  2. Some chance to win? What? No!
  3. The Lions had a lot of calls go their way. Unless the Stamps totally collapse they should beat the Lions by more than a few points.
  4. Then it got stopped. I'd have accepted it. At least we were doing the logical thing trying to win. There were 36 seconds, not 6 seconds left. The FG attempt was a stupid call.
  5. Ultimately it DID come down to one call irrespective of the others. It was a gutless call. The season came down to an impossible FG attempt or 4 measly yards. I am having a hard time accepting the way our season was lost by a panicked O'Shea. If our O couldn't have got the yards I'd be happier to lose that way than the way we did today. At least we'd have tried.
  6. O'Shea turtled & panicked. That's how I saw it. He got scared & made the wrong decision.
  7. They never turned off Suitor's mic. He was just heard on TSN laughing while the Jennings interview started, "I told you we'd (BC) be going to Calgary".
  8. No. Neither should O'Shea with that dumb decision. I'd have rather lost trying to get the first down than on a 61 yard FG attempt.
  9. Jennings a pick, a sack & a fumble. What a great young qb says TSN.
  10. Why has the CFL gone so screwy the past few years? From strange PI rules to coaches challenges to Campbell getting nominated for COTY. What has happened to the CFL??
  11. Only a few will leave. In the end, they'll stay.
  12. This is sooooo flashback 1960's & 70's. Both Canada & the US were out of step then & are out of step now. But Canada was Liberal & the US Republican back then & are the same now. We had Pierre Trudeau. They had Nixon. Today, we have Justin Trudeau. They have Trump. It'll be interesting how this all plays out with our 2 countries.
  13. For what they asked Kohlert to do he was a huge disappointment.
  14. The election was rigged.
  15. The CFL website used to have a free agent list & then would update it if a player signed elsewhere or with his team. It just would be good to know who is available & who isn't. Last season a lot of players went to free agency instead of signing with their own team.
  16. Math is hard.
  17. Warren Buffet was against Keystone as he owns a number of railroads. I've read that he wanted the oil to be carried by rail to line his pockets. He was a big Obama financial supporter,
  18. I expect the Keystone Pipeline will be built now.
  19. Why do people still think he is a free agent when it has been reported by credible sources that he isn't? The CFL needs to publish a free agent list & post it on their website.
  20. Lots of nervous people in the US tonight....
  21. I really like Marc Trestman. Having him back in the CFL would be a great thing.
  22. I agree. I think Nichols runs LaPo's offense to a tee. He understands it & it suits his talents as a qb. It's not pretty because our Canadian receivers aren't good enough. If we upgrade at Boundary Receiver & get rid of Kohlert replacing him with someone who can actually produce we'd be 15-20% better production wise on offense. He shouldn't be replaced unless he leaves himself.
  23. Curious as to whether you can vote in the election.
