  1. Why would we trade an all star qb who still is playing at a high level for an unproven kid in Brown who has played well on a team that's superior to any team he'll sign for? Do you think Brown will have the same high level performing offensive line, receivers & running back as good as he has now in Winnipeg? Not a chance. Look what happened in Calgary with the dumping of BLM for jake Maier? The Stamps were afraid to lose him to free agency. Now the few fans left in Calgary want Maier gone & think he's a crappy qb. I don't see Brown playing as well as he did here elsewhere. Schoen will want $300,000 like we're paying Lawler. And he deserves it. he's an elite CFL receiver. Same with Demski & Oliveira. They're elite & should be paid. More than just a few older veterans on this list will be let go. This team will get younger because they can't afford to stay old. .
  2. No one will trade for Brown especially a canadian first rounder as he's a free agent in February. He's gone. after the season is over. Why can't we afford Schoen? It'll be time to break up some of the core & get younger in order to replenish the roster. No way we're returning next season with so many of the aame players.
  3. I never knew Keith Morrison was his father.
  4. It's dumb. It's cheap. I don't care if you think it's brilliant strategy. Leave it to some obscure STC to make a miockery of the rules & make the CFL look like more of a joke than it already is. Ottawa is dreadful. We knew they'd never beat the Argos. I can't stand just how bad that team is managed & coached. Every year it never changes.
  5. TBurgess laughs. Why am I not surprised??? BTW, I agree with you Mark F. Let's hope that bogus play is eliminated this off season.
  6. So, the 3 wins in a row don't mean a thing just the crowd.
  7. Until he's a crushed 3-15 & just another stain on the coaches road to nowhere. After being run over by every team in the league. Then no one gives a crap about his so called high visibility.
  8. Hank was a polarizing figure, for sure. Even when he played in calgary, there were fans that didn't like him even afyer he finally wona Grey Cup in 2008. He's a high profile "name" candidate who only has a couple pof years of coaching experience. Never as a coordinator in either the NFL or CFL. He'll either be a huge success or a disaster like an inexperienced Matt Dunigan was with the Stamps.
  9. I get it too but I guess someone like Harris who is in his mid 30's needs that hatred to motivate him. It's sad that he wasn't grateful the Argos gave him a chance instead of directing all this misguided anger at us. He also should have realized that the coaches knew that for Brady to develop that he had to leave or take a big step back as a Running Back for which he has had to do in Toronto. At the same time, the Bombers may have given Harris a decent contract if he had run a few tests & committed to coming to camp in shape which he refused to do. So, if he wanted to stay then he was the author of his own misfortune.
  10. You know, everytime Harris touches the ball & has a decent run, he'll act like he's insulted because we wouldn't pay him big bucks to play behind Oliveira. Yet, perfectly content to play behind play behind Ouelette because the Argos paid him. The angry running back act that he pulls off gets old after awhile. If he was the #1 back for the Argos he'd have been out for good by now.
  11. What a joke. He was never injured to begin with. Just Dinwiddie fooling with the roster. If we play him in the GC, I hope our D pounds the **** out of him.
  12. Lots to unpack? No, I don't need a PM. It's pretty simple to me. You get wound up & I could give you a one word response & get a 3,000 word essay in return. That's the problem. You think Booch & others are bad fans & you're better. You always take things to the Nth degree & don't know when to stop.
  13. I had no idea Buck's wife has cancer. I hope she is okay.
  14. About 15 cms of snow on the ground in Calgary today & man, does it suck.
  15. Why do you tie your nuts in a knot over Booch & Mike criticizing the way Osh manages his roster? It just goes on & on & on with you. Like give it a ******* rest already. Do you actually think that somehow you're better than them because you don't question anything the Coach does? I dislike fans like you who point fingers at others because they dare to criticize. It's their take on the Bombers. It doesn't mean Booch, Mike, me or anyone else is a worse fan for questioning roster moves. We're all fans here who love the team. We all have our opinions & from what I've read those guys know a helluva lot more about the Bombers & football than you do. Quit being a snob.
  16. I did as well. Playing sports. That was the thing. My 2 kids didn't play hockey as we couldn't afford it at the time but they did play baseball in the spring, football in the fall & basketball in the winter. I also spent big bucks taking my youngest to qb camps in the US. Those were very expensive so i got a job delivering pizza at Panago on weekends in Calgary to afford these camps. We went to Oakland, LA, Seattle, Portland & Boise over the years. Those camps cost a lot of money but happy to deiver all that pizza in order to do it. That was $$ I could have used on myself.
  17. These teams just slap their fanbases in the face. So clueless that these same fans won't show up anymore to games because of the jackass dec isions to jeep bad coaches & managers around "one more year".
  18. Having kids affected my retirement income. I couldn't put the money away I would have liked. I certainly could use that money I could have saved being childless today. However, that's a sacrifice I was willing to make & happy that I did. Having children was both a wonderful & humbling experience. Being a father made me grow up knowing I was responsible for two lives & to put a roof over their head, feed, clothe & educate. Yes, I wouldn't change a thing. I think a lot of couples who didn't want kids in their 20's, 30's & 40's end up regretting that decision in their 60's, 70's & 80's. Especially when their partner dies & they're all alone in the world in a Nursing Home. I have a friend who used to say that kids make great pets & that he'd never have kids which he didn't. That was back in the 1990's. I talked to him a few years ago about that & it's one of his biggest regrets. He's now divorced as well.
  19. Someone should make a video. Oh wait?
  20. His extension was announced by the Board of Directors to the cries of "Three more years! Three more years! Three more years!!"
  21. Michael Ball. Biggest D bag in what's left of the canadian sports media.
