More like Drew Willy.

Wearing collars up on tee shirts is so 1984.

I know what I saw... Some of the luckiest breaks by a team in one game that I've ever seen. It went on all night. Especially that long pass from Collaros to Demski deflected by that Argos DB. I haven't seen anything like that since Lions DB Joe Fourquean made a huge jump in the air & deflected the game winning touchdown pass thrown by Dieter Brock to a wide open Mike Holmes in the 1977 Western Semi Final at Empire Stadium in Vancouver. You just don't see guys coming across the field from such a great distance to knock down passes like that. Their defense played well but they also had luck on their side BIG TIME last night!! Every bounce went their way exactly at the right time except at the end when their receiver Ungerer dropped the ball. If we play them in the GC, I just can't see that Argo defense making the same plays they did like that against us again. I expect that the breaks will at least be even for both teams. The old Argo Bounce was sure going their way. And Dinwiddie with his bouncing qbs... taking out QB1, playing QB2 then taking out QB@ & putting in QB3 only to put QB2 back in for their final drive. One of the most baffling displays of coaching I've ever seen. And if that wasn't bad enough, there's TSN. All they talked about was either Chad Kelly being shown constantly on the sidelines. Or doing some stupid handshake with his teammates. To the TSN crew in the booth & studio constantly talking about that or the Argos barely mentioning the Bombers all game. What a joke of a broadcast partner. Then, in the end... there's Kate Bierness shilling for a road trip to BC next week to a half empty BC Place. Hey, you wanna see atmosphere, Kate? Start shilling to come watch the Banjo Bowl. Nah, she won't do that. She doesn't want to come to Winnipeg. And finally, Davis Sanchez can shove everything he says up his you know what.

C'mon start spreading some of that wonderful positivity & love that you keep lecturing others here about. Don't worry. Be happy.
-
Coaches will always do what Dinwiddie is doing so that's why rules are being brought in for other leagues.
-
Great answer.... It isn't Load management? It's risk aversion? Just what do you think Load Managemet is anyway? The resting of healthy players so they don't get hurt. It's the same thing.
-
We didn't do that for 6 games so it's not stupid. The Argos are so far in front they actually don't care if they win or lose 3 or 4 games. That's integrity. The organization doesn't give a ****. It makes the league look even more Mickey Mouse than ever. The NBA is bringing in tougher rules for Player Load Mgmt. The NHL & NBA are looking into it. The CFL needs to do it as well. Just because it was never done before doesn't mean it isn't the right thing to do.
-
To me, the Bombers lack a killer instinct. The will as a team to go out & just pummell the other guy just to show they can. That has been the problem all season long.
-
Well, our record against rookie qbs this season is stellar so watch out. Oh wait...
-
But no Chad Kelly vs Zach Collaros. The Top 2 qbs in the CFL going head to head for the first time. A marquis matchup wasted.. Instead we get to see some kiddie looking 12 year old play qb for the Boatmen.
-
What's this do for the integrity of the game? Kind of makes a mockery of it & the Argos giving a big **** You to Bomber fans who shelled out good money to see this game as well as fans across the country who wanted to see this as a marquis matchup. Now??? I think it's time for the CFL to enact tougher laws regarding Player Load Management. Meaning coaches like Dinwiddie can't make a mockery of the schedule by playing backups & resting all star starters. In order to do so, injuries have to be absolutely legit & not fake or a lie. But hey, we all know that the peanut size brain of Randy Ambrosie would never propose something positive like that.

CFL - 2023 Regular Season - Discussion Thread

I just love how every male "new country" singer wants to sound like they're from Tennessee or Arkansas. When they're from Grant Park in Winnipeg, Scarborough, Ontario or Parkland in Calgary & say "eh??" at the end of every sentence. Or from Portland, Oregon & Bemidji, Minnesota. There are a couple of decent singers today. A lot of songs are garbage. GCn20 here's a classic hurting tune for you. And you're welcome... -

Underwood would be a big catch. And I hate this "new country." -
Corus treated him & his co-workers like ****. Laying them all off on December 23rd.
-
They have something to play for. The Argos? Not. We'll be playing to stay ahead of the Lions the rest of the year. I'd rather be in our position. Thw Lions & Bombers will stay sharp & focused.

Same guy. He's zany on the radio. He's been on air here for years. He lives in Cochrane, AB. I guess he & his wife don't want to leave here.
-
Corus did that in Calgary this year. Q107 which was a very good rock station i was suddenly shut down on Dec 23rd last year throwing a bunch of DJ's out of work. After Xmas, they made Q107 into CHQR107 & just converted to all talk radio simulcasting the AM talk. It's shitty. I guess it's cheaper to just repeat what is being talked about on AM radio as no salaries playing rock music. I also read that new vehicles no longer have AM on their radios so I guess this is where things are going. One DJ named Tarzan Dan who was the most popular DJ in Calgary (he did the drive home shift) on Q107 on his last shift just played the music he wanted to. Not what the programming said he had to. I remember him saying, "What are they gonna do?? Fire me???" Good for him. He now works part time for another station. .

Two to 4 billion dollars for an expansion team as we know the NFL will never transfer an existing team to Toronto. Buffalo will never give up it's terrirorial rights to Southern Ontario. They love the Canadians putting their hard earned money down on Bills tickets too much to give that up. Another 2-3 billion (or more as it is built in Canada) for a state of the art 70,000 seat stadium. So, 5-7 billion for an NFL team. Get real. Even MLSE with the Canadian dollar so low doesn't have that kind of cash. -

We need jumping snowmobiles & more cowbells. -
What did Booch say that I agree with? That he has to coach like a jerk to get more out of his guys. It's We're talking another 7 weeks. Not 7 games. He's gotta get a lot more tougher. The band won't be back together next year like it was the last couple of seasons. Changes will be made so if some feelings are hurt chances are some of those guys won't be back. If Osh just accepts that we play badly & does nothing then we're hooped anyway.
-
That is true & I agree but I don't know about you. I see a disturbing trend with the Bombers. Other than the Banjo Bowl, it's not trending in the direction you speak. This has been a problem all year. The intensity & fire just hasn't there like in 2021 & 22. We win not because we impose our will on other teams. We win because we have more talent. However, talent only takes you so far, though. I'm hoping that we come together as a team & start playing a lot better. Just 4 games left. Now's the time for everyone on the team (coaches & players) to bear down & work together. I always thought his name was Wynston.
-
That argument makes sense until you consider we lost to both Ottawa & Hamilton. As far as easy teams go, we played Edmonton when they had Corn Head playing qb along with Calgary. We split our games with the Riders so what's that say?? We're good but we aren't well prepared which comes down to coaching. In Toronto, say what you will about an easy schedule with crap teams in the East... but their team is prepared to play every game & they look absolutely dialed in. I hate to say this but the Argos go out & kick ass every time they play. What do we do? If we feel like it we play hard & win. Other times we put it in cruise control & eventually find a way to win games... In the fourth quarter because we got behind as we played awful. Or we just went out & **** the bed. There seems to be an issue with the Bombers. Is it coaching? Is it players not being ready to play? Overconfidence? Arrogance? Age? I have no idea but we are beyond a doubt, a real Jekyll & Hyde team. I see as lot of the 2014-17 Mike O'Shea this year. He doesn't seem to hold his players accountable if they play badly. Roster management is in question. He just smirks on the sidelines when we're losing like it's no big deal. Hey, we're 10-4 & we all should be happy but we're not. The problem is, we have no idea what kind of a 10-4 team we are. Can we make another GC run or are we one & done in the playoffsl??

We don't need a history lesson to see how bad Argo attendance is. We see it on TV at every one of their home games. And attendance up significantly? From 12,000 to 14,000. Yep, impressive. And, they sure do that "lack of attendance thing" right. By completely closing the upper deck on the side of the field opposite the cameras. Bravo, MLSE. Well done. Clap. Clap. Clap.
