  1. "Yeah, but..." I'll let you fill in the rest of the sentence when it comes to Mike O'Shea & his loyalty to his veterans. So, what's this about Dru Brown taking over??? Ain't happening.
  2. Johnny, he may also play like Dustin Crum. If Brown wants to leave to play in Ottawa then I say more power to him. The money is green but the grass isn't always.
  3. The thread hasn't had a comment in 3 years so why is it being brought back? It also contravenes the rules of this forum. Read Rich's comments about the policies on posting from this past September.
  4. He needs to do what's best for his wife & family. Just let it rest there.
  5. If Brady thinks his 1,500 plus yards is given for an NFL contract then he should think again. The market in the NFL for a slower, straight ahead power back isn't limitless. He won't write his own ticket. He'll be a second or third down situational back that are younger, just as powerful & have more speed. At best, I see him languishing on the PR of some team next season. Brady is good, don't get me wrong but every college team in the US have fullbacks like Brady.
  6. Post Media will eventually lay him off as they have no heart.
  7. Castillo had a great season. What do you mean only with competition?? That's nuts.
  8. Oh yeah, a **** qb made that throw. If MOS stays & is the man in charge then expect things to continue next season like they did this season.
  9. We've brought no one in. NO ONE in 2 years. There have been free agents we could have signed but didn't. LIke WTF??? Once he left, we became soft again like we were in 2016. Our D is no better than what we had under Ritchie Hall 5 or 6 years ago.
  10. It all starts on the DL. We were big & physical. The Bombers defensively are a shell of themselves today. We gave up 184 points in 14 games in 2021.
  11. Agree but to say Fajardo is still a sack of **** is ridiculous. He isn't.
  12. C'mon Noeller, Fajardo threw for 290 yards & 2 touchdowns & made some great throws. He didn't throw a lot of picks & was a very good game manager. If he had played for anyone other than the Riders, fans would be happy for him. It's time fans here gave the guy credit where credit is due. He reminded me of Sean Salisbury when we won the GC in 1988 coming out of nowhere at 9-9 as the third seed in the East. Salisbury knew his limitaions & played within them game managing the Bomber offense letting others make the big play. He beat Hamilton in Hamilton, then the Argos in Toronto at Exhibition Stadium & a BC Lions team in the GC in Ottawa led by Matt Dunigan.
  13. O'Shea will throw a wrench in all of this by keeping most of his veterans.
  14. O'Shea won't part with veterans or coaches he likes. He'll still mismanage the roster. Nothing will change. Yeah, he is a problem.
  15. Playing scared at that point. Ritchie needs to be shown the door but we know that won't happen.
  16. What I find disturbing is that O'Shea even let Bighill play with a torn calf muscle. He was exposed badly on that TD pass to the Als slot as he couldn't cover the receiver. If O'Shea let Biggie play just so he had a chance to have his name added to the Grey Cup, then that is wrong on so many levels. What happened to Team First? Having Bighill out there hurt us badly. He never should have played. I think O'Shea is the bigger problem. Not Collaros. Our secondary plays with pillows. They never put the hammer down when they have the chance. Were so nice. I was watchinng our DBs in man coverage & they were playing off the receivers nearly ten yards. So, Fajardo just kept throwing underneath. It was pitch & catch with our DBs not able to stop it as we're too far away.
  17. And it's not like Osh is going to tell him to change things.
  18. I don't like to hear that. We could be the Edmonton Elks or Ottawa RedBlacks in a couple of years.
  19. That is shocking, if true. This team could fall off a cliff next season.
  20. Hard to believe that Osh being the player that he was wouldn't have put the Team first but it is what it is. Thing is, whose going to tell him to change if walters doesn't come back?
  21. What? Sure it is. Osh got his raise. Walters was left out in the cold. As Club Prez, Miller is the only one who can make Walters fit into the management salary cap. He has to negotiate with Walters. No one else can. We also don't know the contract situation of the assistants or the scouts. Like I said, Miller is the only one who can make it work. Either he wants Walters back or he doubles up someone like Osh to be GM & HC.
  22. He may not be back. Miller claims the Bombers can't pay him which is very disturbing. Right now, he's in limbo. It's really up to Wade Miller to resolve all of this.
  23. No one will tell him that.
  24. Hell, as would have Ravi Shankar...
