  1. She's run her course as host & should be given the boot. We can only hope that they're grooming Scianetti. When we were losing 22-0 to the Elks & we saw the panel trying to be comedic with their "dumbfounded" looks that was just awful & (to me) unprofessional for a broadcast panel to be doing that. Just so amateurish & not funny at all. You know that's all Bierness & not the other guys. Just about that whole TSN broadcast crew from top to bottom has to be replaced. In studio & in the booth. Not everyone.... With the exception of Dunigan who should stay in studio to be replaced by LaPo, Dustin Nielsen & the other young guy doing pbp.
  2. He does yell when he gets excited but that's okay.
  3. Everybody plays the same teams in a 9 team league. We lost to Ottawa. We don't play the Argos in Toronto. Does that make our schedule any less difficult ot take awaay from our record if we win the GC because we had it easier than the Lions who were hammered at BMO Field? To me, your argument makes no sense.
  4. As bad as some think Jim Barker is, I happen to like him. He's still better than Davis Sanchez who is just smug & arrogant constantly. How refreshing that ******* hasn't been around for a few weeks. If anyone drags down the panel, it's Bierness. I notice a distinct change when Matthew Scianetti hosts as they're much more on topic. They really should be using LaPo a lot more, right?
  5. BC is a mess at 8-3? We lost to Ottawa. Are we a mess? Teams go through slumps & ups & downs in an 18 game schedule. Meanwhile, Adams keeps throwing 300 plus yards? Okie Dokie.
  6. Happens all the time. It's an embarrassment.
  7. Evans is garbage. He certainly isn't the answer. He's a retreaded qb who's worse than Fajardo. I mean, are we really surprised here? Montreal hasn't been relevant as a team since Calvillo retired a decade ago. They're not capable of any kind of major upset as a road team. They can play like GC champions at home then a week later totally suck on the road. If anyone here was hoping for an upset playing in BC, they haven't watched the Alouettes the past few years. Not a good road team. They always seem to find a way to lose.
  8. And Crum beat us. Caleb Evans didn't. Your point? Who cares what Hodge thinks?
  9. TSN wants prime time in the East. I hate 5 pm starts MDT. All season, I've pvr'd games & then sit on my deck bbq'ng, sipping on a cool one. Then after dinner about an hour or so later, put the game on & FF thru all the commercials. Sometimes, I'm able to catch up to real time before it ends. Mostly, I finish a few minutes after the game ends. If TSN thinks that having games on all the time during the supper hour out west sells more products for their sponsors, they're wrong. Anyway, TSN sucks in so many ways.
  10. Yes, minor officials who referee do sticks. i did sticks as a parent when both my sons played pee wee & bantam before I coached. It was interesting. Every once in a while We'd lose track of the LOS which made it interesting. Or standing on the sidelines in the middle of the enemy right beside their coaches. It was fun. I don't think I'd want to do a CFL game. That would be intimidating.
  11. C'mon, they got the massively overpaid Drew Desjarlais. That OL still looks like crap with him in there. Well done, Sean Burke. I know one who worked sticks at McMahon. She is a female football player.
  12. You can't compare those 2 qbs to Mitchell. Calvillo didn't have the injuries piling up like Mitchell. He was playing some great football up until he was injured in Regina & had to retire. Mitchell hasn't played well since 2017 or 18 with the serious injuries piling up. Ricky Ray could still play until that big hit he suffered injured his neck & he retired. Mitchell had been hanging on with the Stamps & now the Ti Cats based solely on his past reputation. Not because he's playing like a wily old veteran. I mean, we can all see that he isn't the qb he used to be & it's not even close. You may be right, Maybe he'll get his second wind & guide the Ti Cats to their first Grey Cup. Myself, I think his career is over. Or at least, it should be.
  13. I wonder why they do that?
  14. What a shame.
  15. I'd think so as well. BLM? He's finished.
  16. Probably closer to $300-350, I'd think based on how the CFL upped the pay in the off season for wideouts & Canadian OL. Ottawa massively overpaid for Drew Desjarlais as you can see how much it's helped Ottawa score touchdowns & are now the worst team in the CFL. Just a horrible use of financial resources by GM Sean Burke just like his predecessor Marcel Desjardins used to do. A left tackle should be your highest paid OL & not a Guard. But in the CFL, it's not about being the best player like Stanley Bryant. It's all about the ratio & being an overpaid Canadian so it's all political.
  17. Why do I still think that even with this huge salary that the Argos will still sign all their key veterans & have money left over to raid every team's top free agent because we know they'll never be over the cap. One set of rules for them & another for the rest of us. Just business as usual. Now, what will Dru Brown be asking for as a free agent??? And what if Nathan Rourke comes back? What will he want?? Between giving nearly $300,000 to receivers, $150-225,000 to Canadian OL & now $600,000 to quarterbacks how the hell can teams still function with the salary cap at $5.5 million?? Where's the room with the salary cap to retain key veterans??? The way this league is run kis ridiculous, I tell ya.
  18. Imagine all the time. Sheesh!!
  19. Jake was an equal opportunity referee. He screwed every team over at least once every season. He continued to do so for years after when he was the replay official for the CFL.
  20. Hey Booch, talk about a team flying under the radar? In 2008, the Stamps played the favoured Montreal Alouettes at a sold out Olympic Stadium in Montreal. Everyone in the media, including TSN was picking thr Als to win that day. Even though the Stamps beat them twice that season & were the better team. So, Head Coach John Hufnagel gave a little pre game speech. Brilliant.
  21. They did that with Michael Reilly & his parents. They were constantly on television. TSN seem to think that people care when they don't. Okay Bluto, front & center. What needs to be done to make the Argos relevant & get bums in the stands?? What would you do?
  22. Why are all these refs leaving mid season? I thought working together to develop chemistry with all the official's teams was important. Why wouldn't they retire after the season was over?
  23. I'm just glad for the guy in the shorts living in Winnipeg & trying to function in winter. I'm happy for him.
  24. I just get nervous before games, In the old days before TSN broadcast all CFL games on tv as good as Bob Irving was, I hated the radio broadcasts & seeing the game in my head as Bob described the action. Lots of times I had to turn the game off only to worry even more about the score when I turned it back on a few minutes later. It's like I'd live & die all at once. Since I can watch all games now & actually see the action unfold in real time, my stress level has dropped substantially.
  25. This sounds like you propose anarchy. CFL fans unite. You have nothing to lose but your games.
