One cool thing I saw at the end of practice medlock was tossing snaps to Apodaca and recording the holds on his cell phone. Attention to detail.

Caught the last hour or so today, defence had a couple picks (didn't have a program so I don't know who made it) guys said they had 3 or 4 today. Defence looking good, Denmark and Dressler made some nice grabs but defence usually there pretty quick to contest. Nichols was the best qb that I saw, looks like lefevour took some style lessons from Ricky ray, shaved head and big ears, great look. Davis is fast and might be a competition between he and the other two to play some goal line snaps. Leggett was on the field but not in pads, he's tough, I'm guessing he'll be out there week one.

That was the easiest poll I've ever taken. Top in West could be us BC or Calgary but I'll go with the homer pick.

I'm not going to make a judgment about any guy playing MLB yet this season until we see it in game. IMO our D-line was the weakest part of our team last year.

I'll take every one of our QB's over Kevin Glenn. Right now they are Backups, IMO every guy we have has more tools than Glenn as they all can run and have stronger arms. They do not have the experience Glenn does but we saw what Glenn was last year, not that good,

I think that's the problem is that he could make those plays but needed to do it more consistently. I think he was great in pass coverage but when we played teams like Calgary they barely had to throw because they knew they could just pound it up the middle.

Thank you, I'm pretty sure the entire defence revolves around speed, smaller quick Linebackers and dbs that have trouble stopping guys like Messam. Insert improved d-line, monster in Nevis in the middle and you get way less 1 on 1 matchups with Hurl up the gut.

Doesn't Sinopoli play that position in Ottawa? A guy like Burris can make that throw but I think Nichols has trouble making it.

Who else would they start? The long snapper or The guy who was injured all year with the Bisons?

I don't think it was his fault but I have a sneaking suspicion he didn't quite like getting his nose dirty and run stopping.

Like I said in another thread, Walters doesn't seem willing to spend money at the Z position. I'm speculating here but I don't think we just let Kohlert walk, I think Calgary simply offered more money.
