We need to petition the CFL Commish to host LDC
Mosaic replied to Wanna-B-Fanboy's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
When the NDP was the govt in Saskatchewan no question people couldn't wait to get outta here. That's changed, now we are surrounded by Manitoba folk looking for work. -

Unfortunately that's the only game YOU guys can sell out. You're welcome -

That's quite amusing and categorically false. As far as the Riders having empty seats? We've had 2 1/2 tough seasons yet we still lead the league in attendance at home and on the road. The team this year has shown flashes of very good and bad, that's what happens in year 2 of a rebuild. -

How about you sell out your stadium once and then maybe you get get fun things. Sorry but the LDC is Regina's forever, the CFL knows what straw stirs the drink. -

The trade for Adams has zero effect on the Riders going after Franklin this offseason. -

How does this trade affect the Riders going after Franklin? Adams has another year remaining on his first contract and Glenn is a FA after this season. Riders have more SMS room, because of their lack of big QB contract, to pursue Franklin in this offseason. -
What is wrong with Carter defending his father after a DB trashes him?

Congrats on the hard fought win, thankfully its only the first week of July. Lots of positives on both teams. -

You mean like IGF in 2016 and 2017? -
Biggest Rivalry in the CFL: Regina Winnipeg

Riders could easily say the same thing. Take away the 2 horrible INT's by Glenn or the 3 busted coverages and the game is a route by the Riders -
Had some great conversations with Bombers fans at the other night at the game, they were in awe. I love IGF and believe it is a fantastic stadium for CFL football and am glad the 2 cities that love CFL ball more than any other now have the best facilities. Im curious how the repairs to IGF went this offseason, I haven't seen much info on how it turned out. That said, New Mosaic by all accounts is off the charts. Milt Stegall said the other night that NMS is by far the best CFL stadium he's ever seen and that the facilities are NFL-like, Chris Schultz said its the best stadium in Canada and its not even close, etc. Personally I love the south endzone at New Mosaic with the tiered party zones, that is something I think they should do at IGF. Hope you guys sell out the game vs the Stamps this week, your team deserves it.

Congrats on the win, wow was that an entertaining football game. The team in Year 4 of a rebuild took the team in year 2 of the rebuilt right up to the wire. Bombers are good team, Riders are getting there but need to learn how to close out the game. If we had a Medlock at a kicker we would be 2-0 right now, not 0-2. One thing is certain, the CFL this season has been top shelf entertainment. Here's hoping the Bombers stomp the Stamps this week. Must win for the Riders on Saturday versus the Ticats. -

Nope, this generation of Riders fans don't abandon their team. Last 2 seasons we had poor teams yet still lead the league in attendance last year, and will again this year by a large margin. Makes one wonder why there are thousands of empty seats at IGF every game when your team was improved last season? -

Nope, I see their roster as having many holes like in previous seasons, especially at crucial places like receiver, LB, Canadian OLine depth, marginal starting QB, secondary, etc. It'll be interesting to see if Okapoluga performs how most former CFL players play after returning from the NFL. Saturday will be fun Mike, enjoy that atmosphere and look around and admire how things are supposed to be built. No hard hat required. -

You seen things in a less than objective way, perhaps so do I. Myself, I see this years Bombers team the same way I've seen them the last 26 years. Is what it is -

Whats his record of games he's actually played in? I believe Derek Taylor had the stat up a couple months ago and it was more losses than wins. If you're confident hitching your wagon to Nicholls at a contract like that, knock yourself out. -

That's old for a DE and his sack totals were cut in half last season. Will they be cut in half again this season? Trends say so for a DE pushing mid-30's -

Who says the Alouettes are the 2nd worst team in the league? A fan of a team who hasn't won anything in more than a generation? Hilarity -

Copy and pasted for Sunday afternoon. You speak about old broken down pieces of the Riders like Kevin Glenn (even though the Riders are the youngest team in the league) and then fail to acknowledge your own aging players, like Westerman who's numbers nosedived last season. Didn't he get half the sacks in 2016 than he did in 2015? Have a look at your own roster Mike and you'll see that if you take off the blue tinted glasses, you have as good a shot as anyone to finish in the basement. Especially with the likes of Matt Nicholls at the helm who's lost one hell of a lot more games than he's won in the league. Enjoy yourself on Saturday Mike, no hard hats required like at IGF -

Those are not terrible options. Riders Canadian content was vastly improved this offseason. Stating otherwise is ignorant.
