None of Lapo's guys followed him. Besides flanders which doesn't count I honestly think that says something about players faith in him. I stand by my prediction that Ottawa continues to be a dumpster fire under Lapo. X's and O's are great but it means nothing since he doesn't have a set of testicles.

1000 yard season coming up for Lawler.

Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL
Dr Zaius replied to wbbfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Yeah, but don't they acquire their players via the draft though? Like he couldn't just lure a FA Matt Nichols if he wanted. How I understood it is: a player doesn't sign with a team. He signs with the league who then disperses players I could be wrong though -
Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL

In his defense his quarterbacks are AWFUL. I watched all 3 games (haha) and Flowers is a high school qb. Their offense had some resemblance of success when he switched his Qb today -
Tasker is only 29. Had a year of setbacks with injury, but he's had four 1000 yard seasons. 100k area is a low risk move with potential for high reward

Irving has had absolutely no problem rating the Riders ahead of the Bombers when we sucked in the past. The guy isn't Pedersen who perennially put Riders top 3 and Bombers bottom 3 every. single. year. Why would the Riders be a consensus top 3 team? Hamilton and Winnipeg are the elite of the league obviously. Calgary missed Bo for 6 games and lost a pretty meaningless game to the Bombers in the last week of the year. The Riders played, what, 3 starting quarterbacks all year? Some of which in their first starts and were given a "weather delay" win. The Riders had an absolute horse shoe year and every break went their way until they played an obviously superior team.

Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL

Why are they acting like they're poaching all-stars? Lemon, SJ Green, Dennis are all over the hill. Edwards is the only real impact player to go. Meh. -
Well yeah. That was a top 11 Grey Cup of all time.

Don't play us, man..

B b but... the regina pats and saskatoon rush. I'm told those are just as good as the NHL
-
No sign of Calgary or Edmonton, but Sask ahead of the champs even though they've had no big upgrades this offseason. Classic.

Do they not remember that horrible interception Faj tossed to Rose in their barn in the final? "What a warrior Fajardo is throwing up bombs like that with his injury"

Wish we knew how much lower our offer was. Would 200 get it done? Doubt it.

https://looniecap.com/salarytracker.html The CFL's capfriendly. Hard to gauge the accuracy, for sure. Surprised to see Demski's salary as high as 185.

I'm not Maurice's biggest fan cause 6 seasons is a really long time. I see him as the safe pick. He's had moderate success. The only reason we're in the race this year is because Helle is a top 3 goalie in the NHL.

Direct quote: "Edit: On second thought. He's not really that good. He needs to be more consistent, and I remember some games where he was invisible for entire games." lololololol

That backwater province will never get a sniff of the NHL. Hope you enjoyed being in your neighbours shadow with the heritage classic, sask. That's as close as you'll ever come.

We needed Adams. 60+ yard TD in the WSF that began our run of dominance. Followed it up with a 50 yard reception in the western final when we were pinned at our 1 yard line. Arguably 2 of our biggest plays in those games. He was the only guy who brought the explosion plays he did.

Jefferson is the the current #1 CFL x-factor player. His departure is certainly a loss, but 300k for a guy who goes invisible for about 6 games a year is just too much. Good teams have depth and don't blow their wads on a couple of players. All the best Willie, and thanks for the Grey Cup.
