  1. Esks going all in this year. A couple injuries to key positions to them and they're in trouble. If the steam stays healthy and gels, though, look out. They're going to be legit
  2. With every signing all I see is Riders management sweating more and more. They aren't going to have a snowball's chance in hell in the west division this year.
  3. BLM would have a free path to Grey Cup every year in Toronto. He should seriously consider it.
  4. Dead to us
  5. Sask going to make a run and overpay for Harris? It would be tough to leave a starting job in the East to move to the uber-competitive West. The east boasts a turtle race with a much greater chance of playoff money and success.
  6. You have some pretty unpopular opinions. Bighill is at worst the second best MLB in the league. Unless he blows out his ACL that isn't going to change overnight
  7. What did he say about Demski?
  8. JSK gone, Loffler gone. At least Walters and Chungh's agent are talking
  9. I was just in Arborg and I believe it's actually "Family Fabrics". Get it right!
  10. 0% chance. They could offer him more and he still won't go there.
  11. I didn't expect any chance at signing Jefferson. If we get him, this team is going to be scary
  12. No GM in the league is stupid enough to pay Loffler 200. 150 would even be an overpay.
  13. 😥 Extend that man!
  14. It's times like these that I'm glad Walters had the foresight to make rebuilding the teams O-line his #1 priority.
  15. Big Jesus fan, that guy.
  16. I hope he wants to play another year. Terribly underrated player
  17. O'shea has taken his fair share of criticisms over the years but it's undeniable that he's been instrumental in turning around the state and reputation of this franchise. We were the absolute laughingstock of the league and slowly but surely Walters and O'shea have turned the Bombers into one of the premiere destinations in the league and year in-year out contenders. I have no doubt that O'shea will win a grey cup as a head coach at some point. What I'm glad to see is that he didn't "learn" to do the job here and move on to Toronto to lead them. I'm 100% on board with O'shea's extension.
  18. I think the Riders going with Dickenson was the right choice, as much as it sucks. There's no reason a special teams coordinator can't make the leap - look at O'shea. Dickenson has had a long history in the CFL and knows the going ons. Was hoping they would do something desperate like hire Glanville, but oh well. I really hope they keep Mcadoo. That guy is awful.
  19. I have no problem with Walters denying permission. It's 2 weeks until FA and all of a sudden 2 months of plans change overnight if the OC is gone. It's not Walters responsibility to appease his subordinates, it's his responsibility to field the best team he can. If Lapo wanted a HC job he could have had it 2 months ago. Shoulda woulda coulda. Is it Walters fault that Jones walked and left a divisional organization in shambles in almost February? Christ no. This is just business and I think Walters did the best thing for the club.
  20. F*** I love Bighill.
  21. No GM No HC No DC No QB Upcoming 5-6 win season
  22. Can't wait for Pedersen to spin this one to his annual pre-season ranking of: 1A. Calgary 1B. Saskatchewan Edmonton BC Winnipeg
  23. Of course the Riders are going to try persuade him, but chances are basically nill that he signs there. Put yourself in his shoes. A 3 year extension at around 600k per year is going to offered by Edmonton, BC, Sask, and maybe even Calgary throws their hat into the ring. This very well could be his last contract if he wants it to be as he's not a spring chicken and he's made some decent money in his career. Abandon the city he played most of his career in (Edmonton), pass up the chance to play in Vancouver closer to family, to play in a dump of a small town in Regina? I HIGHLY doubt it. People forget that players have a choice of where they want to sign and lots of times money doesn't matter. The opportunity to sell insurance post career isn't going to bait anyone
  24. Oh. Oilers fans don't. Okay.
  25. I won't miss Lapo if he walks. He can't handle head coaching duties and offensive play-calling wherever he goes anyway. Their offense would destined to be vanilla.
