You must be the last person here to get it ..... I do NOT hate Nichols. I just know he ain't winning anybody a grey cup, so next man up. My comments towards him as a player are no different than what anybody else does here when they feel a player is not pulling his weight. Thanks again for the wife comment. She is home healing as best she can and hopefully the future still holds some fun for us. I do not want to post about her anymore here as the board has been gracious enough all ready letting me vent a bit. Thanks.

Bob an Doug talked about this hefney situation in the pre-game show. Naturally Bob said nice things about how much fun he was to interview when he played, to the point bob said they would look for him every other day for quotes. Then Doug added how the man was playing above his "size", or something along those lines....... the funny part to me was the way they were talking about him made me think he was probably high at the time lol.

Sorry, my real life has been most important these past few weeks. And seriously Nichols, as sad as it is, is probably done as a pro player.

My expectations have been elevated since Nichols unfortunate demise. Big Chris is exciting to watch play and there's is no reason for fans not to expect him to get better. I also believe everyone in the Bombers organization wants to win.....who doesn't like winning lol so in my mind I can only assume they are doing everything they can to make it happen......... I enjoy the comments here from the knowledgable football people, I like watching week to week to see which comments were most accurate. Even with the recent losses this is still a very entertaining season as a bomber fan ...... no reason to ever give up in the CFL.... at least not until you are mathematically eliminated...or ousted from the playoffs. Then let the heads roll all off season !

Hopefully some players sit next game and some other players get to play. Lots of lazy efforts on the field last night.

What did Harris do that was so great last night other than the easy TD ?..... he couldn't gain any extra yards on his own

I'm not worried. Just enough games left to get things straightened out for a cup run. Harris only managing 37 yards on 10 carries has got to be concerning though.... TSN mentioning him still possibly having a shot at an award and then he does that.

Now the Bombers make the proper adjustments at the half and come out shut that stupid suitor up...... what a jerk..... he even slid in a shot at the crowd for the decibel level dropping after the cats made a play early... .. what was he waiting for pumped in noise ?

I hear what you are saying........ but a ten yard short throw a few times in those situations would have been more confidence building for all of us..

Just a personal observation...... ...and maybe not take a sack, but stand in there long enough to throw it further than two yards

For me it means when Nichols would at the last second dump it off to Harris as he was turtling from a defender....

Seen some checkdowns didnt we ?.... but they looked totally intentional not cowardly.... ...so Harris could get his touches (?)

Stats are good for negotiating..... usually for only one side though

MeH....... he ain't exactly gonna attract many new young fans.... and I'm sure the menopausal women who tune in for him don't by many tickets next year either
