Salary cap is for every team so why can't we land a better QB ? If yer happy with year after year of crappy QB play then there isn't really much left to discuss. And doesn't the OC help to lay out a game plan....that includes everyone in the offence...some maybe more than others but at the same time they are all out there.....and then it's up to the QB to pick out what's going on during a play and make it happen ?..... or is the QB specifically told by the OC to do one thing each play and only that one thing , no matter what ? ......this is why I think an upgrade at QB is needed, a leader on the field who is capable to take matters into his own hands when he has to.

Get our best guys signed and one of them top elite CFL QB's will be chomping at the bit to lead this team...

Unless MOS agreed with Lapo........ cause I think MOS is allowed at anytime to tell his OC to change it up.....

Nichols own QB instincts should have kicked in by the half if he was watching his production......

Regime gets another year...... I know there will be many player changes with FA, but hopefully we can keep everyone we want minus one. That being Nichols, go after the perceived best FA QB and get him. Don't worry about the cost or penalties or the SMS stuff (a cup win and nobody would care about the costs for doing it). Then trade away Nichols for what ever we need after that. Just imagine any of the top 3 QB's from last season playing with our group of blue n gold. Honestly the more I read between those here who obviously know lots about football, after I boil it all down it simply looks like we need a bona fide QB who takes no crap and can take a hit and get up like it never bothered him.

I don't think age ends a kickers career as quick as other positions out there.

I am nothing but an armchair fan......but I find it hard to believe an offensive co-ordinator would sit back and hope the defence will win the game for them...... there isn't a place on their resume for that quality

I wanted to post something this morning but wasn't sure where to put it. I am choosing this post because it is about "next year".... this morning at 6:00 a.m. My phone went off which is a rarity. I immediately starting cursing the first couple of rider fans I know as they would love to message me about the game, Plus the bonus of waking me up. ....but it wasn't one of them. It was a cousin letting me know about another cousin who's husband had a heart attack and passed away during the night. Right then all the bad thoughts about the game just washed away....... ........ it was just a game yesterday. And we get more next year if we are lucky enough to be around to watch. So yeh, here's to next year.....Go Bombers
