I think I heard yesterday this was Nichols ninth year in the league ?....... what's the average lifespan of a QB in the CFL ? I think it's getting kinda late to finish training and teaching him what he needs to be doing out there.

More like I got you in a shoebox tucked under the bed and I can pull you out whenever I need a laugh. I told you last year we would never win a cup with Matt......yes he helped get the team turned in the right direction. And he has 'managed' to keep it relatively going in the right direction. He just doesn't have that winner mo-jo that some athletes carry with them. -
My logic tells me he would be leading more by example.

Nichols for anything......just make sure and have a real QB competition for the job in camp. If OShea says anything this offseason about Nichols being the starter next season it will at the very least hurt ticket sales.

They definitly gave him enough time to chuck the ball downfield...... heck I was even hoping he would keep it in bounds when he would throw just so we would have a chance at a Pi call in our favour.....

I can speak as broad as Suzuki does if you want...... but I would rather go for a rip on my high octane fuel burning snowmobile and rip up some tundra here in the northern wilds of Canada before it's all gone.

I totally know the missed pass you are speaking of, and I agree 100% Harris looked dejected....and he was looking in Nichols direction while doing it...... I have seen the team pick up it’s pace in other games where Streveler comes in and they know he is getting a few plays...... but yeh, we’ ll never know

It's not the first time Nichols wouldn't hold himself even a little responsible for a loss. -
Calgary in the game again......Ottawa again....... it's getting boring. Might have the game on in the background next week...

It's wasn't long into the season, if not right from the beginning, that the road to the cup went through Calgary this year in the west. We knew last year Nichols wasn't the QB who would eventually get it done.

Last year I had all these same negative opinions of Matt Nichols. I tried discussing my opinions with what I thought were other football fans of the Bombers. All it did it was get me bullied and booted from a website. This year I will just sit back and read other fans comments. I don't want to miss out on doing the pick-ems again next year, that makes all the games more fun to watch.
