I used to live in the SF Bay Area. I went down to SoCal a lot for business. Now I am in New Mexico. I wish I could make it out. It's only a 2 hour flight from Albuquerque to LAX and the flights are pretty cheap on Southwest. It would be great to fly out to meet you there. Catch the game. Party a little bit. Then grab a boogie board and flippers the next day to go see what the waves look like off Manhattan Beach's pier. Then drive the 5 miles to LAX and fly out. Very interesting scenario but, my gut tells me the Riders will finish second. Either way, Riders and Stamps limping into the playoffs is a great situation for the Bombers.

This is the situation.... Riders 11 -6, Bombers 9-7, Lions 9-7 .....hmmmm 😉 I predict the Riders will beat the Lions this weekend...Riders 12-6, Lions 9-8 as a result. The Bombers will beat the Stamps this weekend...Bombers 10-7, Stamps 12-5 as a result. The following week, the Stamps will have to show some momentum going into the playoffs. They will beat the Lions and they will be the crossover team no doubt. Our Bombers can put in the practice squad against the Eskimos that weekend and rest the starters. Playoff Predictions: West - Bombers over the Riders, Bombers over the Stamps. East - Hamilton over the Lions, RedBlacks over the Hamilton. To date, no crossover team has ever advanced to the Grey Cup - let alone win it. This could be the first time. You know the record is not going to stand forever. Nothing, even in Canada, stands forever.

I LOVE IT! I can't beat that air show for sure....no purple....well you know. However, I can say that my little hometown today (Belen, New Mexico) was the stage for this and other scenes from this movie. I got to work on the set as an extra one day.

Good Morning Bomber fans from the Last Frontier in the Lower 48 States - New Mexico! We are getting ready for our state's Super Bowl event - the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. It is THE most photographed event in the world and it is spectacular! In spite of this event, my mind is north of my border with the Bombers this week. Can they beat the RedBlacks on the road? And I guess I have to root for the Argos against the Lions. And really, do I need to root for the Riders over the Eskimos to give the Bombers some room to avoid being the crossover team? Or is rooting for the Riders strictly forbidden under any circumstances for Bomber's fans? They haven't legalized Marijuana in New Mexico yet, so I am not holding out hope for the Alouettes against the Stampeders. 😉 I am sending some American Southwest, New Mexico-style MOJO your way in hopes of a Bomber's victory Friday night. Back to back spankings are not fun. Our Bombers would still be the crossover team if the playoffs started next weekend. Ottawa lost but, Hamilton won. Seeing both of those teams with 6-5 records today gives a Bomber fan some hope but, there are still 6 games left in the regular season. Should we be afraid of the Alouettes on the 21st?
