I obviously can't speak for Rourke but were I he and had sycophants like Lalji labelling me the second coming I'd be tempted to tell him to stfu cuz it builds expectations that may simply not possible in a sport that is so heavily weighted towards the team rather than the individual. This is the part that really bugs me. It was never "clear and obvious" the rec caught the ball by virtue of the fact that Alexander came up with it. I can't see how the ref could have seen a completed pass. If they didn't think Alexander made a INT then only call that should have been made on field with the visual evidence available is an incomplete pass. At the very worst the CC should have been able to suss out that the TiCat never had possession.

On TSN highlights they talk about the Alexander pick...the anchor says "it's ruled an incomplete pass. But look again"...and then they cut off the replay before you can actually see there was no possession til BA took it. smfh

By that metric is was DEFINITELY a completed pass because he landed on his feet with possession. And as I already stated...frame by frame on the PVR showed his knee was down before the ball came out. We got jobbed AGAIN.

Surely the CFLPA raises a stink about stuff like that, no?
