  1. Look halfback is the easiest position to learn to learn as a rookie. Chris Ike will fine. Block assignments are easy, the halfback takes the inside guy because he is the most dangerous threat to the QB. Stop shitting on Canadian talent. Augustine has abided his time. It's the same with people losing it about giving Clercius a chance and miss using the term raw.
  2. He wasn't Ford's responsibility, he had the flat.
  3. Yes he was, unless someone else too his #95 jersey. #97 was playing the three technique.
  4. Good explanation, cover 3 with the halfbacks and safety covering deep. Corners had the flats.
  5. You missed the play where he put a swum move on the centre and took Fletcher down.
  6. FCB isn't the easiest position, if that were true why are most teams playing internationals there. Especially now that the hashmarks are moved in and their is less room on the fieldside. I keep hearing how Nationals are inferior, but they're hardly ever played at the easiest position?
  7. Thank you! At least someone here gets it.
  8. How does Schmekel on your roster, mean you drafted terriblely? The scouts are paid for finding talent in rounds 3-8. Are they favoring less talented players or are they considered less talent due to your inferiority complex?
  9. Exactly, I thought the Bomber's like lengthy DEs. He' definitely better, than Kongbo.
  10. Are you complaining about Thomas? You literally have three Canadian defensive tackles to replace him. Same with Neufeld. You say you're Canadian, you should support Canada and Canadians. It's nonsense that people think Kramdi can't play SLB, because he's Canadian. If he were a Yank, you people loving him.
  11. Not pathetic at all. Stop putting down Canadian talent.
  12. You should never be concerned about starting more Canadians. Sick of this narrative, that Americans are somehow better.
  13. Raw is way overused. Wallace has been playing football since highschool and has great technique. That doesn't scream raw.
  14. You don't have to bugger the ratio either way. Ford gets hurt, Alexander moves to fieldside Cornerback, Kelly or Hallett go to safety. Plus you will be having Lawson staring starting at DT and Kramdi at SLB. The DA rule isn't going to matter much to.you guys.
  15. He wasn't even raw. Raw would be for a guy who is so athletic, but hasn't played the sport alot. Brubacher in Hamilton is considered raw.
  16. The Americans you're using would've been on the roster and starting regardless.
  17. It was hard to tell, both defensive halfbacks looked to be in the area. I think Bane lined up as the closet slot on the boundary side.
  18. I don't think Wallace was 344, when drafted. You also have to remember he's 6'5, so 330lbs isn't a bad weight.
  19. Looked more like cover 3, I think Hallett (safety) was deep middle. The two defensive halfbacks (Kelley on the fieldside and the American on the boundary), looked to close together. No idea which defensive halfback was responsible for Bane?
  20. Why? They're plenty of Guards at that weight.
  21. Their is no point to the rule. Teams are going to have American veterans, who have been there three years regardless. Is the naturalized rule why you keep Bryant, Jefferson, etc?
  22. He hasn't gone overboard at all. This is the Canadian Football League. It's a minimum of seven starters not a maximum. Guys like Kelly will be next man up, because of their versatility.
  23. Don't understand the Kramdi hate. If he were a yank, some fans wouldn't be putting him down.
  24. Mital is definitely going to Ottawa. That is their weakest position. Plus this draft is loaded at the offensive line. Wallace will probably go to Saskatchewan at 3, to compete at LG and RG with Rider's. Don't see a running back going in round 1. Ti-Cats have depth issues at MLB and Safety. Defensive back is a area of strength in this draft, but Labrosse could be the pick. Like the other picks though. Especially Hergott and Brubacher going in round one.
