  1. yes, they did have a few winning seasons, just didn't feel or seem like it... they were in St. Louis for 28 seasons and had a record of 186-202-14... this included 10 winning seasons... only 3 of those winning seasons had wins in the double digits... those double digit winning seasons were in fact with Mr. Coryell during the '74, '75, and '76 seaons... in '74 and '75 they actually won their division but quickly lost in the first round of the playoffs... other than that, a lot of 4 and 5 win seasons... their last season in St. Louis was yet again a losing season... in the final 12 seasons after those 3 double digit win years they managed to have a winning record only twice....
  2. yeah but we got the best years of the Rams... so that makes it ok... I'm not sure if the Cardinals ever had a winning season while in the Lou, lol... but I still liked them... not as much as my Chiefs though...
  3. when I was looking at their, Oakland's, move to Vegas it said that a huge contingency of people from Oakland were actually buying the season tickets... it's almost a cult following... weird for a team that isn't any better than the Raiders are... I thought a couple of years back they were about to figure it out with Carr and the team...
  4. that's cool, lol... it's all in good fun! yeah, we got that cup, finally... only took us 50 years to do it thought, lol... hopefully the second one comes quicker! that whole NFL thing of allowing teams to move... just how many times and how many teams are they going to move to LA and allow them to leave again? LA does not support football there... I get that they are a huge market, but, if the community supported a team they wouldn't have to move again... if a team is allowed to move though, they should have to repay all of the season ticket holders the PSL they paid to get season tickets... it didn't bother me though when the Rams left, not like it did when the Cardinals did...
  5. ST. LOUIS BATTLEHAWKS!!!! I'll have season tickets to them as well, lol...
  6. if you like that, you'll love this... I had season tickets to the Birmingham Iron games... 😀 thinking about getting Bomber season tickets next year...
  7. back in March I went to an AAF game from St. Louis to Atlanta for an 3 pm game,.. I drove to St. Louis, grabbed a cab from the airport in Atlanta to the stadium, tipped the cabbie to be out here where he dropped me off at 6:30, and he was actually, lol... he took me back to the airport, flew back to St. Louis, drove home in time to watch the late news...
  8. Thank you , Tburgess... I've learned my required 'one new thing ' today so I now have the afternoon to myself to do as I please!
  9. actually laughed out loud at that, lol...
  10. but it does remind me of something that I've wondered about for a long time... why does the CFL use yards instead of meters?
  11. funny how that works, huh? 😀
  12. I thought that all of the wins from 2016 forward were Nichols???? lol... just kidding...
  13. but you can get a 1 way flight for as little as $70, maybe cheaper at times...
  14. 560 miles or almost 9 hour drive
  15. to me, it will be if he is actually given a game plan to execute that isn't nothing but all check downs, or, the dink and dunk, Harris is our most targeted receiver, and we involve all play makers in the offense... the other thing that will be on Lapo is if we see nothing but stupid gadget running plays for Streveler... if this happens, then it's on lapo... on the other hand, if we see throws down field at all depths and playing past the chains mixed with the run games, then it's on Streveler...
  16. and bullet proof! 😀
  17. and I have to say, I more than just a little excited for the game! GO BOMBERS!
  18. well it's obvious that no one outside of the media saying this crap feel the say way... it's just another cog in the hype machine... they are several cogs as well, much like 'pro' wrestling... you have the media that reports the good and then the ones that reports the bad as part of a calculated exercise to get people to ultimately attend/watch... people here have become pretty much immune to it all and pay little, if any, attention to any media noise surrounding the NFL...
  19. the only people that are concerned, or were concerned, about the venue are media people looking for something to write about... honestly, I doubt that anyone other than those seeking clicks or looking to be some big shot reporter on TV are actually talking about it... because, truth be told, the TV viewing audience for this game was probably about the same size as the paid attendance, lol...
  20. Already a reported 4,500 people on a waiting list for season tickets in Vegas... and the PSL prices are just crazy stupid... get this, it's reported that a lot of the people buying season tickets are actually from Oakland, lol...
  21. as much as I don't like Nichols, I agree with you on this... Streveler's success depends a lot on the game plan given to him Lapo, much like Nichols situation.... Nichols has proven to be an adequate QB when given a more dynamic and creative game plan, as opposed to the 'dink and dunk' that targets Harris as his primary receiver, and one that includes all of his player makers in a balanced attack... so, I think we are both on the same page on this and should be able to come to a consensus...
  22. Nichols is signed thru next year actually...
  23. in a couple of weeks I'll hit my peak season for football... Friday nights will be high school football and CFL Saturday, NCAA and CFL and Sunday, NFL come Feburary I'll add XFL
  24. money makes everything better... that's why everyone wants it...
  25. Harris only had 34 rushing yards in our first game with Edmonton, if that helps at all...
