that's so funny, because while I was reading this I was thinking of that dude from New Mexico or where ever that showed up a few weeks ago... when he was complaining about fans 'not showing up' I asked him where his season tickets were located, lol... of course he wasn't even in country... but felt the need to call everyone else out... what a loser... the lengths that some will go to trying to be the center of attention... but setting up multiple accounts in order to converse with yourself... now that's a whole new level of odd and sad...

too funny... sad, but funny...

why in the world would someone attempt to fake TC reports? what's the payoff for someone doing such? odd...

the dude would actually miss work to attend, lol... he was dedicated, that's for sure..., I was honestly surprised that when he left last year that he didn't come back... I figured he'd go off for a few days, a week maybe and then be back... but the dude has resolve... left... gone... finito...

I think that if we don't win it all we're in for a healthy dose of 'if Nichols hadn't gotten hurt' for months to come from our own fan base... we've got more than 1 enabler in our midst...

there have been several that had issues with 'letting things go' or taking it all too personal... I don't know how long it was that every time I said something that they didn't agree with I would get "you're just mad because they cut LDW" and they would turn it into something it wasn't... once that died down I got the whole "you're a Nichols hater"... we could be talking about the turf at IG Field and they would say that, lol... I never took any of it personal or got mad over it... but if they were looking for a fight it's like I said, I'm no wall flower... they would get so mad at me too, lol... Colton... the whole routine I did with him and his mom calling me about him having trouble on the 'short bus'... wasn't very nice... but he would come out of the wood work just poking me and looking for trouble... and he found it, lol... I finally had to quit giving into them and not respond because it seemed like it always landed in my lap as the instigator, and I wasn't... by the end it was so bad that I didn't even have to comment and they were calling me out, lol.. thank god that is all behind us now... but I can assure you that if I have something to say I also have something to back up my position... I learned early on that subjective opinion that is unsupported didn't go over well... as it shouldn't in most cases...

but I will say that I like the combo attack of Zach and Chris and even said before the game that I was hoping that Lapo had spent the 2 weeks prior to the game putting together a dynamic game plan featuring them both... I'm not sure that it was actually dynamic but it did work and hope to see more of it this week... I had even suggested they do that with Nichols earlier in the year before he got hurt...

oh but know, lol... I actually laughed out loud at this... I told him one time that he needed to just "go back down in his mom's basement and keep on eating glue and finger painting and leave the football talk to the grown ups" lol... he was livid! I also got in trouble for that one, lol... I thought it was funny..

you know what you call a wide receiver that can't catch? a defensive back... lucky for Collaros he ran into a lot of these guys over the last 2 games or he would already have a 6 or 7 in the INT column...

the whole "Nichols throwing his teammates under the bus" thing really sent him into a tail spin... I couldn't believe how personal he took it all...

If I were to pull along side of you in my '66 you may think a lot of things but 'sleeper' isn't one of them, lol...

I'd have to believe that he reported me more than once, lol... I thought the two of us were actually friends, well as much as you can be friends in a text based world, lol... but then I guess I would say something that would upset him and he was on me... I'd remind him though, that if he was looking for a fight, I was his Huckleberry..., that would usually settle him back down...

I had an AMC Ambassador once?... paid $75 for it... didn't make it through the weekend... lol...

I get that, but you have to believe that the majority of those participating over there would not fall into the demographic that they are truly concerned with... not to mention there is just a ton of crap posted, lol... maybe it's news worthy... don't see how, but maybe...

I'm well aware of that, hence the word 'propaganda'... some people actually believe that it's legit journalism... but having a job component of checking a Bombers' fan forum???

I found this funny... Ed Tait told me on the 'other forum' that it was part of his job to check that forum daily ( I believe it was daily but not 100%)... who knows, maybe he comes here too... when anybody talks about an Ed Tait piece I always respond with a single word... propaganda... lol...

they allowed Reilly to get sacked 48 times this season... and that was in 16 games! he had zero time in the pocket for the first 3/4 of the season... actually felt bad for him and the beating he was taking...

the little things, those tangibles you're talking about, they're huge to a team... he seems to have a very good relationship with Nichols, and seems to be starting one with Collaros as well... you see Streveler greeting players as they come off the field, talking them up, high fiving, etc.... you see him working the sidelines, big smile on his face, congratulating his team mates... and it all comes off as so sincere too... I don't think you could get him to pull himself out of a game, even with an appendage about to fall off... the kind of player I want on my team, for sure...

hey, I got Montreal and Toronto on the phone here, they say they want to talk to you... any clue what that could be about? anyway...

yeah, I agree, it looks like the play was to go to the outside but he saw that gaping hole and made the cut... good vision on his part... then just blew by everyone in a pretty shocking manner, lol... I was impressed...

I'm not a Nichols hater either... sure, he contributed, just like every other player does/did... there was nothing exceptional about his play, if we're being honest... during that stretch the defense was on fire, probably because those were bad teams as well but, they didn't give a TD for over 8 quarters or something like that... plus, in game 3 against Ottawa, Streveler play for probably over half of that game... threw for a TD and rushed for another... plus head beat Edmonton in the first game of relief duty... beat SSK... but you have to admit, the first half of the schedule was wayyyyyy easier than the second half... weaker teams, more home games, defense showing up regularly, meeting up with QBs that were either new to the team or freshly crowned as a replacement, etc... but it boils down to a matter of opinion, I guess... against those same teams I feel comfortable saying Streveler could have... now McGuire... I don't know, we've not seen enough of him to form an opinion... but how often is a QB3 ever called in for duty in a game? but to suggest that Nichols did something in those games that is able to be duplicated by another QB is giving him too much credit...

yeah, Minneapolis... it's a smaller airport and normally had a short layover... I think all in all it would take me about 4-4.5 hours to get from home to Winnipeg... I went to the Banjo Bowl last year and was planning on going back again this year but had a little accident, lol... my passport burned up in my brand new 2019 LTZ-Z71 club cab Silverado... it had less than 10,000 miles on her... firework incident on the 4th of July... wasn't my fault but still... burnt the thing to the ground! my passport was in the glove box because I had just used it as identification to renew my drivers license... I didn't realize it until August that my passport was gone and it takes at least 8 weeks to get a new one so I wasn't able to go to the game this year... which reminds me, I still need to get a new one! lol...

couldn't readily find direct flights from Missouri to Winnipeg either... I but thanks for the info guys!
