  1. “And I would’ve gotten away with it too! If it weren’t for that meddling Booch.”
  2. Which previous cups did you attend Booch?
  3. I’ve seen far less legitimate outlets get media credits. That would be cool to see.
  4. Action Jackson can’t go anywhere Booch. Osh has set it in stone.
  5. I’m guessing Biggie is just hurt. Non contact injuries are never a good sign.
  6. I can’t believe he didn’t get signed anywhere this year. Dude was as good of a deep threat as there was.
  7. For the sake of the league, I hope Kelly is good. The CFL needs new QB talent. Ford, Kelly, and hopefully Brown all panning out as long term starters would be massive for the league.
  8. Brady’s work is phenomenal, undoubtedly. But as a completely non football related award, I’m not sure it’s a big deal. Again, I don’t care who wins it, I’m proud of those who are contributing. Brady could win the next 10 and I’d applaud him.
  9. I believe it was Dave Naylor before last year’s Grey Cup that said Collaros should be considered one of the greatest comeback players in all of sports, and I agree. Guys like Larry Dean, Kyrie Wilson, who have comeback strong from Achilles injuries deserve recognition. Next year there will be guys like Masoli, Malik Henry, etc. It’s a great idea.
  10. Amen, love this idea. Man of the Year Award is presented prior to the kickoff of the Super Bowl, and that’s a great time to do it. Comeback player of the year award should absolutely come into play.
  11. There’s also east coast bias. It’s more prevalent in sports where there’s late night games, but the media will often watch the eastern teams, then call it a day. So you’re likely correct that some of them likely just read storylines and didn’t actually put thought in.
  12. Had Dalton Schoen and Castillo won the awards, I would’ve applauded them for their community work. Who cares who’s recognized as long as they’re out there doing good for their communities 🤷🏻‍♂️
  13. If you’re genuinely whining that the Riders won community awards, that’s an extremely weird hill to die on. But you do you.
  14. I don’t think anyone should take much issue with the Riders getting two awards for activities off the football field. One is Lenius who goes to schools to promote mental health awareness, the other is Lauther who planned a large Rider event in Phoenix which raised $20,000 for KidSport. Really nothing to be outraged over.
  15. Banks too. That was hilarious.
  16. Every throw the Faj makes, it looks like he has to put his entire being into it.
  17. Best receiver in the league by a wide margin imo. The title belonged to Geno Lewis for a time, but KLaw owns it now. Purely based on the fact that he can be covered perfectly by anyone, and he still might make the catch.
  18. I do genuinely think he was concussed. But that’s neither here nor there.
  19. Doesn’t mince his words lolol.
  20. That play should absolutely be illegal imo.
  21. As someone who loves watching the NFL, the Saturday games were a godsend. I’m happy they’re keeping the Grey Cup on Sunday for the tradition of it all.
  22. Oddly enough that was under the Jones regiment. But, I digress. You know I’m not a fan of the current Riders management, but I truly don’t think they’re an org who would bring back a potentially violent criminal.
  23. Hopefully he’s good to go, those non-contact injuries are extremely tough to see. I wouldn’t be surprised if Keon Hatcher tore his Achilles.
  24. Hughes was still suspended. I think it’s asinine to say the Rider org would just be okay with a player getting a weapons charge, which looks to be pretty serious. Calling that the “rider way” is just silly.
  25. They’re generally supposed to vote before playoffs, as to not let playoff performances dictate their opinions. But I’m not 100% sure, @DTonOBcan you elaborate?
