  1. I thought so too. Duke is exactly who people say he is. Selfish, lazy, etc. He’ll be lucky to get $100k this season.
  2. I give Nick Marshall a pass. He’s never been super problematic aside from a stretch last season after his brother was shot & killed. I’d be okay to keep him around. The others can kick rocks.
  3. They went 6-2 from Labour Day onward in 2019 but that’s irrelevant as it’s now 2022. As for Ferland, I didn’t say he was going to be an all star, but do think he could be a serviceable starter if properly coached, he’s 25. Sorrell is a terrible OLine coach, and would hinder any player’s development.
  4. I don’t think I bought into any “crap”. There were minimal issues in 2019. Last year’s issues carried into this year, and continued to get worse. I think Ferland will be fine, he’s still young, and can hold his own. Evan Johnson is a turnstile.
  5. Just a different feel to this season’s team. Like there’s no direction, leadership, etc.
  6. My uncle… Season ticket holder of over 30 years, not renewing his season tickets for next season. Said he’s not supporting them until they make major changes. He said he’s seen some awful, awful teams, but this one is by far the worst.
  7. Haha, that’s totally fair. My other reasoning is Biggie and I have a pretty good business relationship.
  8. Count me in as a Bomber fan for the playoffs. You’re a hospitable and fun group here.
  9. That interview is just who Cofaj is… self centred, me first, etc. Fine can’t do worse than him. The season is over so it doesn’t really matter, may as well see what we have.
  10. Low risk, high reward signing. If his performance drops off, you can cut ties. Happy for Zach. Myself and many others thought his career was over after the Simoni hit.
  11. Rutledge to the practice squad… what’s the story there? By my observations he was pretty good this year.
  12. I will never miss the feeling of having a 250 pound dude tackle me onto the turf in -10 weather. So often with those games it’s about who runs better. Olivera is suited to brawl in cold weather. Not sure about Butler or Carey who won’t be able to redirect as easily.
  13. Well of course you would! Don’t blame you for that. But as a neutral observer of the game, I cheer for competitiveness You must remember I watch Cofaj try and be a quarterback every week
  14. I hope whoever comes to Winnipeg makes it a competitive WF. BC at full health is probably better offensively… but Calgary might be the more complete squad who has competed with Winnipeg a little more.
  15. It’s still working in Calgary too. They’re a pretty good team considering how much they lose every year. That being said, McManus seems to be an elite level talent manager. So unless a team is willing to let him GM from Florida, he’ll keep finding all stars like Schoen & Alford.
  16. All possibilities! Would totally depend on Zach.
  17. Probably. But if you’ll lose him for free anyway, he’ll probably be traded.
  18. Brown has looked good in his flashes. Has a nice touch on his deep ball for sure.
  19. Ahh I didn’t realize he was 27. Makes sense what you said.
  20. Is Schoen NFL bound? You can’t teach that type of separation on his 65 yard TD. That’s just pure football IQ.
  21. To be fair, it’s the first game I haven’t seen a minute of all season. Sometimes you have to let the girlfriend win.
  22. Please, don’t get holier than thou on me. Not watching your team lose isn’t unique to Rider fans.
  23. Every week they get more pathetic. Luckily I didn’t watch a minute of it.
  24. The words Cody and Fajardo in the same sentence now give me a panic response
  25. And he’s what… 34? Pretty impressive!
