  1. Holy crap! That's an amazing diagram. I had no idea this team was that risk averse with the football. Show the ones for Strev and Collaros, please.
  2. I keep thinking of the shoulder injury that Travis Lulay had and how it basically finished his career as a QB.
  3. But, isn't that what Tiger Woods gave his mistress?
  4. Riiiight. Maybe you should just slide right on by the Positive Energy thread for this one. :-)
  5. To win a Grey Cup I think he'd do it and not even apologize or admit it was intentional. We're talking about a guy with a history of going after QBs in dirtbag fashion. Besides, I don't trust the league at all in this regard. If you can rip a guy's helmet off and club him with it and not even get ejected, well.
  6. If Collaros plays great that dirtbag Lawrence will (try to) intentionally concuss him. I do not trust that ******* to play a clean game with so much at stake. The officials probably wouldn't even eject him, re: VAJ
  7. I agree but for the sake of my poor heart, please, something other than this bend a l m o s t t o t h e p o i n t o f b r e a k i n g defense.
  8. What I mean is that for any QB that likes to throw the ball and take some risks Lapo is the wrong guy to be playing for. Nichols fit in with Lapo because Nichols is very risk averse. Collaros is a seasoned, mature QB who, like Nichols, takes some risks but you could see in the Sask game that Lapo was already dialing Collaros back and that lame, sputtering offensive scheme started rearing it's ugly head, even though Collaros had hooked up with Adams and Demski deep a few times in the first half. I'm sure Lapo will eventually neuter Collaros as he did Nichols. When Lapo starts doing it to Masoli it will be painful. I'm arrogant enough to think I'm right and humble enough to know I'm often wrong. We all have varying degrees of both but for the most part I enjoy hearing what everyone has to say.
  9. You're forgetting about Lapo. Masoli would die a thousand deaths here under Lapo. I suspect Streveler could be a super-Masoli if he could get away from Lapo and hook up with a June Jones type of coach.
  10. If we have Strev we don't need Masoli so full agree there. True but some of us remember when we were kids growing up in the Peg and we hated Toronto because they were such arrogant bastards with their Joe Theissmans, Leo Cahills and Leon McQuays? Well I still feel a bit of that for Toronto and just can't shake the feeling at times that O'Shea has a bit of that Toronto arrogance in him too. I can see him and Pinball being two peas in a pod over there. I admit I could be completely wrong though. Speaking of the arrogant Argos ...
  11. That could very well be.
  12. Same with Maas.
  13. Or a Collaros?
  14. He's a little busy right now.
  15. Well, how would you know what class is if you had never seen it before in your own team? You'd think it was the same classless **** your own team does.
  16. Real tough guy that Marshall. Both Adams and Bryant looking to the official to see if he's going to do anything to bring this brat under control. Of course, nothing. You'd never see that sort of thing on an O'Shea team which tells me that Dickenson is a ***** that won't/is afraid to keep his players in line with a little discipline. I'm sure Marshall had to be consoled after the game.
  17. They specifically said, we hope Winnipeg beats Calgary in the WSF so they have to come to our barn to play us. They didn't want Calgary, they wanted us. They requested us. They begged for us. Well, they got us. How did that turn out for them, again?
  18. How does he run top speed the whole length of that receiver's route and not even be breathing hard? I mean, he's hamming it up after all that!
  19. For you Jcon ...
  20. That is freakin' awesome! LOL LOL LOL!!!
  21. Apologies. I must have misread you. A guy working on a master's degree is certainly capable of reading a defense. Sure defenses can be tricky and they're often designed to confuse a QB just like ours did to BLM recently. That doesn't mean he can't read a defense and look how much experience Bo has. Streveler needs experience at doing something other than playing dump truck and until he gets away from Lapo and maybe Pierce that will never happen.
  22. Your insinuation is that he is an idiot despite the fact he has proven himself to be a very cerebral person. One day that young man will get an OC and QB coach that let's him really play QB and you're going to see that he has skills he doesn't get to showcase here on a consistent basis. Collaros and Nichols have well over a decade of experience between them and Lapo treats them completely different from Streveler. When Lapo looks at Streveler he sees a ball-handling battering ram and that's how he uses him and Streveler knows it so what's the use at this point in the season? Every play Lapo has designed for Streveler is of the quick-hitter variety -- look for primary and if it isn't there, tuck it and run. I hate to say it but he probably needs to be traded to a team like Ottawa or Toronto where we might get a chance to develop properly. He needs to get away from Lapo. Lapo does not develop QBs. Never has.
