  1. Officially 1% nervous about Demski. I have a weird irrational feeling that TO will make a hard push.
  2. For real, good for him. Can’t fault a guy for getting paid.
  3. Some people (myself included) were just fed up with all the nonsense surrounding the vaccine/Covid/politics/idiots at that time. I for one, kind of took it out on pretty well everyone who didn’t want to get it. Still think getting it was the right thing to do, but I’ve adjusted my judgement towards those who don’t.
  4. Hey now, you show me a guy who hasn’t been kicked out of Earls at some point in his life!
  5. I don’t think there’s 11 moderate Nazis in the GOP, and there certainly aren’t 11 with the balls to do the right thing.
  6. Demski is by far the most important. I’d be shocked to see him play anywhere else.
  7. What did folks expect Miller to say, “We’re gonna pay Kyle but we have to wait until we can do it creatively enough to skip over the dumb ops cap” Clearly, the club has a way of getting everybody enough when it’s all said and done.
  8. Great signing. I’d speculate the club could be moving on from Winston Rose.
  9. I’d personally be fine sticking with Leggz. Sean Whyte is the only upcoming FA that I could see maybe being here for a year in a mentorship role.
  10. Suppose O’Shea coaches til 60, that’s still another 8 (!) years.
  11. Agree 100%. A dominant interior DL is nearly un-schemeable
  12. Sadly, this is what happens when we give equal weight and patience to the opinions of those who quite honestly don’t know **** from cinnamon.
  13. I was there for the LDC in 2005. It was a dump then. I’d hate to see what it looks like in person now.
  14. To be honest guys, this year stings but it doesn’t even come close to 2001 or 07. 2019 was very special, in that I got to see a cup win with my Dad. My Grandfather was one of the biggest Bomber fans. He and my Dad had a tough relationship at times but they always bonded over the Bombers. Granddad passed away in 1983, I could always tell it broke my Dads heart that they didn’t see 1984 together. I saw so many parallels during the drought, can’t describe how badly I wanted to see that 2019 victory with the old man. Not to mention seeing a guy I’ve known since nursery school (AH) helping end Winnipeg’s drought..So many special aspects of that win. 2021 was both the hardest and best year of my life. We had twins in September of that year, and unfortunately we lost one of my baby girls to heart disease at 3 weeks. After all the grief, and sleepless nights of raising a newborn, our family experiencing another cup win at that particular time..So grateful for that distraction. Seeing my Dad holding his granddaughter while watching the final OT play was another all time life moment. I try to keep all this in mind after this past one. Saying “I have perspective” is inaccurate. I’m still busted up over the team losing, but unlike 01 and 07 I’m not dwelling on it all winter. Again, thank you guys, especially @Zach Schnitzer and @Noeller Just remember when you’re down, you’re NEVER the only one. I’m sure you all have support in your real lives, but my PMs are always open if anyone here is suffering.
  15. Thanks for sharing guys. I struggle with my mental wellness too. It’s been a really tough couple of years, and reading and participating in the talk around here helps a lot.
  16. Thinking about PR guys. I think McCrae would have made a difference in the last 2 games. I see him as being a future all-star type. An American Demski if you will. I hope they’re able to bring him back, and do a little more to fit him on the active roster next year.
  17. There’s only one player who could have single handedly won that game for the Bombers, and we all know who it is. If you’re still under a rock, I’ll give a hint. Rhymes with Stan Stark.
  18. Agreed. I don’t think we acknowledge yet just how special of a year Schoen had.
  19. The difference between 2001 and now is the club actually has the money to keep it going.
  20. He’s had a few rough years injury wise. Top DE in the league when healthy but I’d be fine with the club moving on at this point. Can’t rely on his availability.
