CBC did the best job of making the game itself seem like a big deal.

Camera work yes iirc, or at least very different angles to what we were used to. Have to hard disagree on overall quality though. Sportsnet announcers were even worse than current TSN, like Rider radio broadcast level bad.

That about sums it up. He’s young enough that he could take another 5 years to mature and still do very well.

Yeah O’Mahoney (rip) and Jamie Borham were bad but they played like a combined 3 games here. Westwood was awful when they tried him there at the tail end of his career. I don’t recall a punter worse than Sheehan lasting even close to this long though.

The Riders I guess (as HC/DC they had a good Defence). Anywhere he was before the latest run in Edmonton. Super overlooked point. How many times this year has the opponent started on their own 40 or better and Bombers hold to a FG attempt or punt. It’s really outstanding how few points they’re giving up with literally the worst punter the team’s had in the last 40+ years.

Idk, Jones is a dildo, but he’s a good DC. It’s when he gets roster power that he messes everything up. I think it’s an ok move honestly. I think they’ll improve. They have more talent there than their record shows. Calling it right now, someone’s upsetting them in the cup or EF. Could even be us..

We should probably give him a break. He just got back from the war and his HOF induction ceremony ran late into last night. Then they try to run on a second and 10 later and get just fisted. Glorious.

Cool perspective. I always like to hear about the experience in other stadiums. That’s actually one thing I’ve noticed going to games in a few other CFL cities, there’s some pretty rough stadium PA announcers. We’ve been lucky in that department. Bob MacGregor and before him Mo Renaud, both fantastic.

They were but I feel like the DL was the straw that stirred the drink on that team. This year the secondary is the top unit on the field for either side nearly every game. I can’t remember ever seeing so many coverage sacks in a single season.

We’ve had more ball hawking ones recently but I can’t recall one this consistently strong in coverage. Probably have to go back to the Rod Hill days.

I don’t see that it’s one simple thing. I think some of of it is their bread and butter stuff being figured out in the film room over a couple of years and Buck can’t or won’t adjust well enough. The OL taking a step back, especially before they put Randolph in. Also, Zach did in fact play like complete trash to start this season. He’s improving but to me his game has still been just average. Those factors, plus some key injuries. At this point I feel like the offence is equal to what they were at the end of last year honestly. Their last really great game was last years BB.

1. The Secondary. Don’t even have to elaborate. 2. Tony Jones. Just a gem of a pickup. Vintage Walters move. 3. Demski- Best 2/3 receiver in the business. HH- Woods. Just a constant motor. The pocket pusher we’ve been pining and whining for since Stove left. Second HH- BC Sucks

Interim in 2013. I think they won a banjo bowl and one other in that period, so technically Walters is at 102. Edit: It was 2, banjo bowl and the last game of the year against Montreal.
