  1. Agree on the center being the main issue. I suppose I expected Dobson to be more of a physical force. I see him driven back in pass pro nearly as often as Kolo, and he doesn’t really get into the second level much on run plays. I guess it’s not a realistic expectation when the guy in the middle can’t do the job. Quite honestly, Dobsons first game last year he got destroyed on the first play and I’ve been subconsciously judging him off that, and to be fair I haven’t seen any of our interior overpower anybody much this season. Its not like we have all the game film but I’ve been impressed by Bryant as usual, he moves around like a guy half his age. Lofton mostly, gradually more and more. I haven’t noticed us getting killed by rush ends. Stan had one rough whiff in the Montreal game, aside from that, when I see the replays of pressures/sacks he’s usually got the edge locked down. Either way, you know your **** better than I do, I’ll stop digging myself into a hole lol Sometimes I lean too hard on the comparisons. Corney wasn’t a fair one, Dobson seems much more dedicated to the game. It was mainly the athletic freak pre-draft stuff that made me see the similarities.
  2. Seeing it put out like that, yikes. That was against imo the worst team in the west besides us. This isn’t going to get better any time soon. One of Miller or Walkers needs to step in here. Winning with committee leadership is all well and good but when things get rough, one person still has to be the boss. MOS clearly has no interest, it’s gotta come from up top now.
  3. Yeah, Trent Corney. Super athletic lineman who did a bunch of impressive non-football feats to pump up his draft stock. Couldn’t play up to the billing.. Malcom Thompson. Were the “undisclosed reasons” he sucked? cause I’m pretty sure that’s everyone on here thought and saw. Guy got beat enough and missed enough tackles to be let go, as a Canadian on an MOS team lol.
  4. There’s no reason not to give him the Ottawa start. What’s he gonna hamper Zach’s development? Even if Collaros didn’t get hurt, it was time to give Streveler a game or 2 with the full playbook. If anything else, just to let him prove he can play the position.
  5. I disagree. Kramdi has good isolated reps but nowhere near consistent enough to be more than a rotational piece. When he’s on every down, he gets exploited. Constantly in chase mode and gets mixed up in the short game, especially when it’s someone on the line of scrimmage coming across. Too many missed tackles as well. The necessity of which is very arguable.
  6. How much are they honestly spending though? I’m meh on signing him, but the money isn’t an issue, even with *just* Schoen on the 6-game it wouldn’t be. To be Lanny LaTaskis maybe, keep him tf away from calling plays though.
  7. I wouldn’t say so really. They have lots of guys with speed. They need a good route runner with long arms. Someone who can win 50/50 jump balls and come back to get under those under throw-by-design deep shots. Lucky is/was good at taking short stuff and making the first guy miss, or burning guys in single coverage. He’ll do more than Wilson if still able to run, but he’s not gonna turn the offence around.
  8. I have not been impressed with Dobson at all. I know he’s a “first year starter” but I mean, he was drafted in 2021 for gods sake. There’s no excuses for the rookie mistake stuff. For the fact he’s supposed to be a mauler, he jogs up to the pile after the fact wayyy too many times a game. Guys the Trent Corney of OL right now.
  9. Seriously though he’s the worst punter the Bombers have had in my lifetime- for more than a game or 2 anyway. Clearly Legghio had to go as a FG kicker but he was a better punter than any of the migrant workers they’ve brought around since.
  10. I agree. He’s not the kind of receiver they need right now.
  11. Because TSN knows/cares sweet piss all about broadcasting football games.
  12. Stars Castillo Ford Hubert Turds The same 4-5 guys we’ve been complaining about for months. All the American receivers. The LBs. Holm had a rough game too. Crappy Honker The bad punter who can run fast.
  13. On one hand he probably brings equal or greater value than the useless Americans rostered right now, on the other he’s injury prone and isn’t the kind of 50/50 deep threat they need. He is (was?) a burner but not very good deep when he’s covered. They need a longer rangier type.
  14. It’s just a joke at this point. Mike O’Shea would rather be right than win football games, that’s all there is to it.
  15. I’m still more upset by the 22 Grey Cup than anything else honestly. A 3peat, won in Regina…all the momentum in the 4th quarter…**** sakes. I’ll never get over that one. It’s as bad as 2001, **** it.
  16. 2012, 2015. Hell the last 25ish years minus 00-03, 07 and 16-23. It was just as bad or worse than this for most of our lives @Noeller, your memory just got short while they were good.
  17. Mookie?! He’s gotta be pushing 60, but yeah still better than Wilson I’m sure Agree with everything except I think Strev should unquestionably start the next game
  18. They’re gonna give up a FG **** sakes
  19. Strev can throw the football
  20. Only silver lining is we’re not gonna hear another week about how “they’re inches away” again right?
  21. I don’t get that, especially from Buck who pretty much had success exclusively rolling out
  22. Not a lot out there. They’d be better served by using the guys they do have properly
  23. It’s like they’re playing madden and just calling cover 2 sink over and over
