  1. I work with a bunch of 20-25 year olds, it’s nice to come on here and still be the young guy ngl Just one of those weird dudes about football history…my old man had the 85-93 CFL Facts figures n records in the shitter for my entire childhood hahahaha
  2. Mine is 1. Roster/Interior OL choices 2. O’Sheas stagnancy. 3. The QB situation at the moment. 4. Letting Dakota Proukop throw that ******* godamn bloody pass in the 2022 grey cup still and forever. Not bad considering I was born in 87 hahaha
  3. I see it as the C being the main weakness too. Everything in football starts from the middle, and I’ve just seen dude knocked on his ass so many times in so many games when the other linemen were getting it done. I just can’t see how a proper center wouldn’t make the line look 100x better.
  4. That’s an interesting choice for sure. He did play for Cal..
  5. Ideally next week, I’d like to see Wilson/Mitchell/ plus either Kolo/Neufeld off (if they insist on 7 OL) and Johnson/Clercius/Vanterpool on. I’d rip the bandaid off right now and have the OL Bryant/Dobson/Eli/Wallace/Lofton with Vanterpool as the 6th and one of the 2 crappers as 7th. If an OL goes down, Vanterpool goes in and Clercius comes in for an American receiver.
  6. If they did it midseason it would be Richie Hall taking over anyway most likely, which would be completely pointless. I’ve seen exactly one in-season coaching change work in the CFL and that’s because BC’s coach bailed 6 weeks into a season, not even a firing.
  7. I don’t think the casuals have it figured out yet, but if/when they come out like this against the Lions, oh man.. BC and Sask get the drinking crowd more riled up and the stadium can get ugly quick when we lose to them.
  8. MacSymic, Brent Monson, Calvillo are probably the next crop of assistants to get HC interviews. Jordan Younger too if the D does well enough this year. To be clear though I think firing a coach midseason is almost always foolish, I’m strictly talking next year if things continue to go bad.
  9. Couture to an extent yeah. Desarlais wanted to live with his g/f in Ottawa because she’s getting a medical degree there, that one’s a bit more forgivable.
  10. Yup, they fiddle ****** around with the PR usage for over 2 years, longer really. Case in point- Tavares Harrison, (insert random American OL), Ali Baba Mourtada and the 40 jobbers. Kelvin McKnight. This is going back to 2021.
  11. Maybe because I saw it live but to me it was the 2022 loss in Hamilton. He got absolutely destroyed like 5 times that game. The first time as a Bomber that he got just beat to ****. He was a little awry for the rest of 22. 23, I don’t think it was the BC game. He bounced back nicely and shredded them a few weeks later. To me, it was getting demolished by Ceresna in the Edmonton game, he was never quite as sharp afterward. These things compound. Especially a QB with a history of head injuries, those incidents must add up to his comfort level in the pocket.
  12. True, but Osh himself has gone full circle it seems.
  13. even little things. When was the last time you saw the team take advantage of a loophole or rule? When was the last time they did anything innovative at all?
  14. That’s EXACTLY it, and it insults me as a fan. I’ve seen enough close games, I want dominant, cutthroat win at all costs, humiliate the other team football.
  15. I’m sure he doesn’t like losing, but MOS really, really gives the impression he prefers close games above anything, and isn’t particularly bothered by a close loss. He appears to be satisfied with the “chance to win” a lot of the time. Again, I’m sure that’s not exactly the case, but it’s how he comes across.
  16. “I’m a little Kolo, short and stout. I’ve reached the ceiling, please take me out. When I get a bull rush, hear me shout. Tip me over, it’s 2 and out” Me- July 20, 2023. Almost a year later and Eli is STILL sitting What a joke.
  17. Yeah any team that’s good over multiple generations of players gives guys like Neufeld the old ultimatum before/during camp. I don’t remember a game in the last year where I didn’t see Kolo get knocked on his pratt at least once. He looks like the passive fat kid that gets put on the OL in peewee just because.
  18. Oh no doubt this is going to get way worse. IF they make all the right choices moving forward, they’re still screwed by injuries for a good month it looks like. Any kind of turnaround won’t happen in the summer now imo. Most realistic path is them figuring it out after LD and sneaking into the playoffs. Starting to look more and more like a lost season leading into a full on rebuild though, and it was completely, completely avoidable.
  19. “We’ve got a lot of good players. They’re good…they’re just….really good” -MOS actually
  20. Another thing that got buggered up in TC. Rosery would have been a nice addition to the O last night.
  21. Oh for sure, it’s pro sports. There’s gotta be some form of pressure. The guys that used to “lead the room” are the ones who aren’t showing any accountability on the field and the coach doesn’t want to make room for younger leaders. Bad recipe. I’ll change the Ritchie quote here. Every starter over 33 years old is worth one lost game.
  22. Great point, I’d forgotten all about Ford.
  23. Just tell MOS you know how to long snap
  24. As much as I hate Osh’s pressers, what else is he gonna say there? “He was ****” That being said “Best chance to win” talk always makes me want to puke
  25. I think he was handed the rotational spot then. We had 2 guys who showed more imo. They should have used him more in the passing game as well. He was godawful in pro, at least run him out on a swing or in the flats.
