It’s so surreal how far and fast both Alberta teams fell. They were the class of the league for the better part of 30 years, Edmonton even longer.

That’s exactly how I feel. When BC comes here in the cold, the Bombers pork them and it’s hilarious. Every playoff game against Sask is a nerve wracking mess win or lose. Offensively sure. I think their D is pretty low tier, save a few individuals. I’d take Teuhema and Rene for sure though.

Someone else said it earlier, the only good thing from his tenure was having the playoffs moved to Saturday, and even then some others mileage may vary.

After what happened last GC against Fajardo, I’m never talking **** about a Bomber playoff opponent QB again.

I don’t think the league is corrupt so to speak. I think there’s just a very, very subtle push to let things go the big market teams way. TSN doesn’t help this either, the way they slobber all over BC and the Argos

To me, the league and CC favour Toronto, BC, Montreal and Sask over the other 4-5 teams in general. If it’s East v West, they always lean East. Sort of based off nothing honestly, it’s just a feeling I’ve always had.

This is key. Can’t afford to screw around for 3 quarters with stuff that clearly isn’t working.

Gotta remember Montreal has by far the best OL in the league this year, and their RBs are pretty damn good in pass pro. I believe it was Fletcher who just embarrassed Kramdi when the latter came through through on a blitz in the 4th. We haven’t been getting much pressure on any other teams either though I guess..need an actual legit Rush End next year. I know they’ve had some success with a 3 man front but when other teams figure it out in-game, Bombers need to be able to switch to a 40 on the fly.

Insufferable is right, I hate those bloody horns. I refuse to watch non-Bomber games played in Montreal. If I ever had to sit in front of those guys I’d probably end up in jail.

I’m not really all that confident, I just can’t pass up an opportunity to make cheap Saskatchewan jokes. The interior OL alone negates any confidence I’d have. The Gracious Gust totally saved us pages and pages of talking about how godawful Kolo and Neufeld looked again.

Randy Ambrosie out after the GC. Good. I realize he’s not the only voice in the room, but seriously, what an atrocious commissioner. Terrible public persona, terrible priorities for the league to focus on. The global initiative was a joke and “genius”sports was pathetic. Not to mention nearly killing the league for real with that XFL merger nonsense On field product, attendance and TV ratings all got worse during his tenure. I mean, TSN has just as much as anyone to do with bad ratings and stagnant product, but the earlier points still remain. Ambrosie is a flat out bad commissioner. I’m happy to see him move on. I’d agree, but I didn’t think TSN would make Kelly the face of the league either.. Also, we see it differently but the casual fans have had Pinball shoved down their throats for years as some benevolent CFL father figure.
