  1. Pfft, probably gave him a Hortons Card and a tote bag, called it a restructuring. Toronto and BC sign whoever they want anyway. “Cap space” lol
  2. I really hope they find/draft/sign a normal traditional punter this year. Just get a guy who can kick well directionally without the bouncy gimmick stuff and isn’t going to have a **** hemorrhage if it’s windy. Yeah I’m not sure what the criteria for that list is, but there sure are some god-awful employers on there.
  3. Fwiw Ayers turns into a really solid end in Madden
  4. No. He’s dead to us all. Burn the stadium down. He’s been on the neg list for a while no?
  5. Thomas-Erlington would be decent depth. No thanks to AML. Definitely no to either as starters. Either would be roughly the same salary as Augustine though, if not more. I think it’s a moot point anyway. I couldn’t see them sticking with a Canadian RB if Olivera goes. If it comes down to one or the other, it’s Schoen over Olivera and that’s a no-brainer to me.
  6. I actually think the same of Dolegala. To be honest he looked like he could have a decent ceiling on a team that isn’t trash.
  7. I like it. We beat Ottawa in the 25 GC at home. Collaros retires. Brown sees what he missed and comes back here to run 1/2 with Streveler for another 5 years.
  8. For the record, a silly twitter post isn’t going to change the fact that Brady is an outstanding human being. I’m sure everyone can agree there. https://www.thegridironcrew.com/marcus-hillman-2023-pro-prospect-interview/?amp=1 Here’s an interview with Marcus Hillman, one of the latest signings
  9. I can’t stand the term “reset the market”. It’s a capped market, all that does is take away from another area (or from another angle, one’s own teammates) I’d rather see a balanced roster than a reset market star alongside a bunch of jobbers. We lived through that in the 90s and 2000’s, paying 2-3 skill players and nobody else.
  10. Or a legit 3rd edge rusher as to not gas out the Jeffs. Willie is one of my top 5 all timers but let’s be realistic, he’s useless when he’s tired out. Starts loping around, trying to make up the energy by using his feet instead of his body. Jeffcoat too, dominant but needs to be spelled more, bum hip won’t hold out for 18 games There’s no excuse not to have at least a 7 man rotation on the DL this year.
  11. No one is turning on Brady. I’ve kind of turned on his agent though to be honest. I get trying to max out value, but all the NFL talk is just stupid.
  12. Oof. Yeah, they’re done for.
  13. One sided no doubt, it’s just that the games themselves have been so entertaining. KC is like watching Ric Flair take a beating pillar to post and still come out on top every time. Buffalo is the underdog babyface that just can’t get it done.
  14. Gotta feel for that fanbase. 4 straight SB losses, 25ish years of trash football. Not to mention seeing the only sadder sack team in the league (Detroit) actually making their conference championship game. Then they finally find a generational QB, only to have an even better one get drafted in the same conference. Buffalo’s window will close faster than KCs too. This was probably their best shot at it with this group.
  15. I know it’s not really an NFL fanbase here but that was just one of the all time great football games. This Buffalo/KC rivalry the past few years has been absolutely phenomenal.
  16. It’s harder to name the years that hasn’t happened
  17. Hey everybody, an old man’s talking! Seriously though, everything Al is saying about the Ottawa franchise is right on. Seems to me after they were gifted early success by the CFL in their infancy, upper management/ownership stopped caring or trying particularly hard.
  18. I think we have a pretty good idea of what Fox would add. He was really able to push the pocket that last game in Calgary. You could see significantly more pressure up the middle when he and Lawson were on the field.
  19. That’s what I mean. I wouldn’t want him here other than depth. I think someone’s going to overpay and start him for sure. So many teams with trash OL’s. Sask most notably.
  20. Agreed, though regardless of how we rate him on here, Bladek will command a big salary. I don’t think we could afford him here unless we lose a lot more guys than planned
  21. Emulis I’d say is close to top tier. The other 3 I’d rate a shade below, in no particular order. Just my own opinion.
  22. He’s top 3 NI WR in the league imo. Behind Demski and Gittens Jr. I’d rather have Woli than KSB for example.
  23. https://www.bluebombers.com/2024/01/20/winnipeg-blue-bombers-re-sign-receiver-drew-wolitarsky-to-two-year-deal/ Woli back!
