Its frustrating to see us lose 3 grey cups in a row with many of the same issues but how many other coaches could have got us there 5 x in a row? After the western final we were applauding the coaches. To me this loss and maybe another one was on Collaros execution

Thats what's so upsetting and it wasn't the only dumbness on display by the Bombers the above example was closely followed by not using Olivera in the red zone, and having Wilson come in cold and with so little game experience try to throw exclusively. and again with Olivera having run the ball on second down with more than 3 yds to go very succsessfully yet not trying it again all game. and followed yet again with no half time adjustments to an offence that was clearly not working in the first half Honestly we looked like a that playing with desperation and panic. The amount of penalties we took was inexcusable O'Shea said after the game that we didn't run the wall because the argos defence was set up to take it away yet Brady had a 7.6 yd average.. And with Demski hurt we didn't have anyone else to misdirect the run game.. Our lack of creativity to get the most outstanding player the ball is yet another example of dumbness. I was never a fan of Dinwiddie but he truly made our coaches look like rookies. (a lot of that was self inflected too) -
That awards show was a fitting sendoff to Ambrosias last year as commish - poorly planned and worse executed, from tsns failed attempts of humor ( the milt , blm skit was embarrassing) to presenters no one's heard of promoting own agendas it wasn't pretty. The only saving grace was Brady winning two awards and Bighill winning his. By the way this isnt the thread to be putting Biggy down but should be to celebrate one of his great accomplishments

Offensively I hope they utilize Clercius as TE , and outlet for Zac. He could have a big game. Argos will have a lb tracking Brady even if hes blocking. Defensively where we could have gone 9 dbs we likely keep Jones or wilson keying on Carey. Argos will likely deploy Mcmahon and Carey together on numerous sets.

We want to press early, they have to be wondering what success they have without Kelly. Dont give them momentum. A big key is limit turnovers, thats killed us in the past Hang on to ball And lastly be aware when grant is on field.

I cant blame mueller to much, going in a lot of us felt the game plan should be to use Ouelette and Armstead and establish a strong run game.Instead it seemed to take Harris out of his rhythm . This is one of the few games we've game planned for an opponent rather than doing what we always do. kudos to Younger. How he rotated in Wilson and Taylor was very good as weil. They should be morey ready for next sunday

What is perplexing is we've had all year to find a db we can trust as backup and we have to add a 36 year old retread for the western final. Our practice roster is not good
-
Bighill and Schoen last year were gtd. They hadn't practiced unless it was the last day.For wilson he may go in and play limited reps much like Ayers would. Alexander needs to be able to properly tackle, Ouellette and Armstead arent going down easily, 1 1/2 Arms aren't going to do it

Far as I can see we have plenty of posters who like to express their opinion and see who agrees/disagrees. If you are simply posting to show how smart you are the its futile. At least Zac tries to put out his views with items to support them and welcomes other opinions. To simply put down another poster is something that you usually see on the rider forum

Do you really think Dobson played at an all star level? Not asking what the voters thought btw. ( they both arent great but Kolo is under contract ) -

I think its nothing that a strong guard wouldn't fix, Dobson has been inconsistent and your right in that Kolo isn't strong enough to make up for it, but he's not as bad as some would make out. -

We\ve got Bryant who hopefully has one more year in him, Neufeld who is also aging, Dobson is a free agent..... Kolo is the least of our worries -
Pretty much, Younger wants the defensive ends to keep the qb in the pocket and push forward. Which is a good idea for qbs such as VA and Ford, but with Harris and MBT not so much. We do need to come up with better blitz packages when we need to so that we are not so predictable. Our team as a whole is too predictable especially in the playoffs where the better teams have studied our tendencies. On offence its very seldom we run a play where you can say that was a great game plan. Most of the time we just rely on the athleticism of our receivers or Brady. This year especially Buck has regressed in his play calling we use less motion and misdirection than most teams.

Dickenson in Calgary has basically thrown every other coach under the bus to keep his coaching job, How they let him maintain 2 roles when its repeated been shown that it doesn't work is the definition of insanity Have lost a lot of respect for dickenson. (just watch him hire is brother as a coach, (already a consultant)) Calgary Stampeders part ways with coordinators Mark Kilam, Brent Monson - 3DownNation -
Its the same problem as when a fumble occurs and the refs let it play through. They call it a fumble even though that is not what they actually saw, and because of the ruling on the field it cant be overturned cause it needs clear and obvious evidence to overturn. To me the answer is on both potential fumble and interceptions the play needs to be reviewed using slow motion etc to get call right. The clear and obvious criteria is good for pass interference and other infractions as the officials call them as they actually see it
-
One thing im our favor is I think Collaros has taken a stronger leadership role the last few games, doing what it takes to get the W such as running for first downs, holding others accountable etc In previous playoff games he has been tentative
-
Maybe ,but the fact is, we were still in it with only 2 points difference. So lets not make it sound like we were outplayed. Total yards, 1st down TOP was all very close. Had we made the most of our red zone chances it wouldn't have been close
-
Appreciate the background on Cole, but I still feel Griffen is better able to read offences and support other dbs.
-
not sure that Cole is a great cover guy at safety, but I do like the idea of Griffin in at that spot. He's got good speed and football sense as well as a good tackler. would really make our secondary even more formidable

Hopefully some of the mdp and mop votes get split between Beverette and Milligan, so Brady can get mop. The thing is Brady actually had a better year last year and didn't win (which was robbery) -
