This is what drives me nuts. No real changes being made to a team that has ZERO wins. It sends a message that they are satisfied with their current position. So frustrating.

Would be a nice boost to the Dline rotation to have Garbutt back. WJ, Woods, Adams, Garbutt would make a big difference in our ability to pressure. Will they get the chance?

Stamkos is old, but he had 40 goals last year, so he’s not washed up.

I have absolutely no confidence in us pulling out a win tonight, which is a shitty way to go into a game day. I really hope they surprise me…. shock me. Actually, the shocking part would have been putting out a better depth chart. Maybe some in game adjustments? Ah whatever…. LFG!

Just so deflating looking at that roster. I know the injuries are significant and have made things difficult, but wow…. The staff, O’Shea in particular, don’t see any need to make changes to the starting lineup. The middle of our defense is a disaster and don’t get me started on rolling Kola out there again. Ugh. I’d be shocked if we win Saturday. Really hope I’m wrong.

Hope you’re right about Eli. I still don’t see him getting the start, but I would LOVE to be wrong. ‘Burnt Alexander’ made me chuckle. I’m a Steelers fan and back in the early 2000’s, they had a safety named Brent Alexander…. Guess what his nickname was?

Alexander getting a day off as reward for terribly play? Eli not practicing is really disappointing. Makes it even less likely O’Shea finally realizes he needs to be starting over Kola. Anyone know what the deal is?

As others have said…. I’m fairly happy with this lineup, based on who’s available, but I would have liked to see Eli in at C and Johnson in for Wilson. Eli specifically, is the one I really can’t understand. I assume the reasoning is MOS wants to give the line time to gel, but Kola has been a doormat for far too long.

It’s such a no brainer…. The kick and punt returning has sucked and you have a guy that is better at it, and he had a return TD in the preseason….. PLUS he’s a RB, which is an obvious weak spot on the roster right now. If he’s healthy, there’s absolutely no reason to not put him in the lineup. None.

Yes, but he was a punter…. Hamstrings are definitely more vulnerable in non punters…. Never mind one that is 300 lbs.

Adams is a crazy athlete.

And when he’s not on his can he’s getting driven back into Zach’s lap, which might be worse. At least when he gets run over there’s a chance the guy could trip on him.

Starting Eli over Kola would be a good start

I don’t want O’Shea fired. I want him to make adjustments to how he goes about his business. If he doesn’t see the problems, then Kyle and Wade need to sit him down and illuminate them for him, and explain that changes have to be made. Hopefully he wouldn’t be to stubborn to realize his shortcomings and have the nuts to admit his way isn’t optimal anymore.
