    Such a big upgrade having Iaffalo on the 3rd line. He’s just much better than Appleton.

    Yup. Then a Check player gets his knee out on a Canadian and it’s called tripping? And no review ?? WTF? Just a complete joke.

    That 5 minute penalty for ‘Kneeing’ is an absolute disgrace. Shouldn’t have been a penalty at all. The Canadian’s leg didn’t even move. Just a pathetic call after a review.

    Yeah, that wasn’t a good look. I feel like we were pretty fortunate to not get scored on there. That being said…. DeMelo had his stick shattered with a slash after the first face off of the PP. No call, of course.

    You definitely have Nashville’s record wrong. And their goalie is Saros. 👍🏻 Hopefully we have a better effort than the last game against them.

    I fear the worst, but maybe they’ll surprise us…. They seemed to find a bit of a groove in the 3rd against Germany. I’m grasping at straws.

    It would be nice to see them beat the Americans, but they will likely get shredded. The Latvians played as well as they possibly could…. The odds of them maintaining that level are slim to none. And there’s bound to be a let down after such a monumental win.

    Canada looked like dogshit and deserved to lose that game, but give Latvia credit, they played well. One of the worst games I’ve ever seen by a Canadian team. Couldn’t connect on passes…. Just incredibly sloppy.

    Don’t like the way Fleury went down. Jets likely short on D for the 3rd. Couldn’t tell from the replay, but it looked like the Leaf tugged his jersey and he went down awkwardly.

    Tough to get a double minor high sticking penalty when you’re getting hooked and trying to get your stick free and play the puck. I’m not an Appleton fan, but that one is tough.

    Vegas gets away with a ton of hooking and grabbing. Their one penalty was hooking, but they could easily have 5-6 more…. That were more obvious than the one that was called. So of course the Jets get a late penalty. FFS
