The 2nd line needs to change and it can’t involve Toews. Try Barron, Perfetti and Iaffalo…. Or call up Chibrikov. No more Pearson and Namestnikov. Milic has been hung out to dry. Feel bad for him. He’s been solid. And shoot the friggin puck. 33 shots in the last 2 games…. And we’re not scoring…. Hmmmmm….. Guys like Namestnikov are allergic to shooting.

Caps sure had the benefit of the calls in that game, but they also heavily outplayed the Jets. Even at that, we were a whisker away from tying it up. Broken record time…. Got to find some secondary scoring. Can’t expect the first line to do all the work. That 2nd line needs to change.

I don’t disagree with them having chemistry, but they don’t often produce offense, and we need offense.

That 2nd line is not good. I understand Arniel wanting to find some scoring, but that’s not it. Hopefully I’ll eat my words. I’d try Barron up there. He’s earned it. Namestnikov is overvalued. Barron is faster, bigger and much better at face offs. And Pearson? Come on. Put Barron, Perfetti and Iaffalo on the 2nd and see what happens.

Not a good 2nd period so far. Short handed breakaway, Comrie makes a big save and no one bothers to pick up the trailer, easy rebound goal. No excuse for that.

Comrie has been pretty solid, but I know what you mean. Milic has real good numbers with the Moose this year, so hopefully that translates. Not sure who’s out there to pick up, if they want to have a look around.

I guess he didn’t like going back to the Moose again. To be fair, he just hasn’t shown enough to warrant a regular spot in the lineup. He hasn’t had a lot of quality minutes with the Jets, but he also hasn’t earned them…. He did very little with the Moose last year, which was disappointing.

Yeah, this is a big question I have too. With the staff pumping his tires all the time, I doubt it will happen. But maybe, if we had an OC he respects, that tailored a game plan to his current skill set, it could work. I think we can all agree that there is no respect for the current OC.

Anthems aside…. The Jets have some nice jump so far tonight.

It wasn’t great. I feel like at least 2 of the 3 were good singers, but the harmonies barely ever connected.
