If I recall correctly, the book on Worman has always been that the players have hated him, despite the success he brings on the field.

This is enough for me to move to MTS. Have had other problems with Shaw.

CJOB has the rights to the Bomber games for the next 5 years. The remainder of the 7 year deal they signed right before Buchko left the radio station to run the Bombers. CJOB was worried that TSN 1290 was going to steal the rights when they came due so they offered the long term deal to the Bombers. Can't see Bob working much past the next 5 years.

And this means either a trade or picking up another teams cuts. At this time of year neither will occur until after roster cut downs. So why not upgrade the import talent right now.

Bombers negotiate Transit game day discount
Rich replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
The Bombers pretty much had to offer free transit last season because everyone was used to driving to the old stadium. That isn't feasible at the new location. The carrot was dangled so people would take advantage of it. Now that people are more used to transit and have experienced the traffic nightmare if everyone drove, they can start charging again. -

Bombers negotiate Transit game day discount
Rich replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
If I have to guess on this, there will be regular bus service to get to the games (though the city would still have to up their buses running to the stadium), which is why you pay. Then on the way home, it is free, so the Bombers pay for the charters. However, since they are only chartering home, they don't have to pay for the 3 hours of idle time during the game. They would only have to pay for whatever the minimum time is. -

I guess this is the backup plan... Are they still chartering buses? -
The T-Shirts have arrived today. Besides winning them as prizes in upcoming contests, if people are interested in purchasing one, we will sell them at cost for $20 (+ shipping if you live out of town). Also, if you feel so inclined, in the spirit of MBB being able to donate a pair of season tickets this year, we'd encourage you to make a small donation to your favourite charity as well. Here is an actual shot of the shirt. (Excuse the wrinkles, photography isn't my strong point ) They are a very nice soft comfortable cotton (90% cotton 10% polyester and pre-shrunk) . Was very happy with how they turned out.

Michael Hutchinson now 52-15-3 combined between the 3 levels of hockey he has played in this year. Would like to see him get a legit chance with the Jets next year.

City continuing to play games with the Bombers or just an oversight? -
Ice Caps win 5 - 0 tonight and advance to the Calder Cup finals. Congrats on the playoff run so far and good luck in the championship. Great experience for the Jets prospects.

Apparently Chad is a fan of Walmart and McDonalds ... who knew?

It has been announced today that Dave Randorf is moving to Sportsnet. Apparently he has always wanted to be more involved with hockey and with Sportsnet getting the NHL TV rights, he will get that opportunity over there. Any guesses on who will replace him on the CFL panel? Anyone that you would like to see from your wish list?

Madani: CFLPA Recommends Strike Vote To Members
Rich replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
There has been chatter on Twitter this morning from the media that the league may lock the players out before the season starts if a deal can't be had. This would be to pre-empt the players from striking right before the playoffs. Other tweets also mention that a majority voted to strike. Nothing official from the PA though. -
To the people who are complaining that the Bombers should have fully disclosed Wylie's arrangement. As was pointed out to me, from the start his position was labelled as overseeing the development of the O-line and not O-Line coach. They didn't really spell out what that means but to be fair the majority of Blue Bomber fans (outside of the hardcore) don't even know who the coaches are passed the head coach and possibly the coordinators. Don't have an issue myself with how they handled this.

One day of camp and he needs to rest his body? Not a great sign.

He is the O-Line coach. http://www.bluebombers.com/coaching-staff
