  1. Of course they are far apart. Both sides will need to give in a negotiation and they will meet somewhere in the middle. If you start at the low end of what you will accept, you lose.
  2. Not officially. And likely won't be until after an autopsy is performed.
  3. Do you have a source for this other then speculation on reddit and hfboards?
  4. Picks this week need to be in by Thursday @ 6:30 PM Standings can be seen below:
  5. Nope, but shoot me a reminder if I forget when I enter the picks.
  6. At 25 he isn’t actually that early into his career. Goalies just take longer to marinate. I think he only had one RFA year left. He will be 31 when this contract expires. I think it is a reasonable contract, he was a Vezina finalist. Some concern is justified I think on a regression in his play, just the nature of goalies. On the flip side, if you sign him for a lower AAV, term is shorter, and he may walk in free agency. Don’t want to go back to having a big ? at the goaltender position.
  7. Yep. Changes can be PMd to me as long as they come prior to the start of the game you are changing.
  8. Not deleted, hidden to make entering the new weeks picks easier easier. I've unhidden if you want to take a look. Will be hidden again Thursday when I enter in the picks,
  9. Short week with only 3 games on the docket. Picks need to be in by Thursday @ 6:30 PM Current standings below:
  10. Ladd had 5 years left @ $5.5M AAV and will be 33 next season. He had 29 points in 73 games last year and 31 points in 78 the year before. Seems to me Ladd would have to be considered a salary dump at this point and make Ottawa want way more to compensate for that.
  11. Doesn't seem like the type of player True North would be too keen on bringing in.
  12. And their rosters are smaller.
  13. Trouba, Morrissey, Hellebyuck this summer. Laine, Connor and possibly Wheeler next year. That money is easily gone.
  14. So much for free agency coverage on TSN. It is now just Tavares and Toronto coverage. Embarrassing when some guy from behind the camera yells out that Tavares signed with Toronto, and they all stop for a second and let out a giddy little giggle, then continue with coverage.
  15. Picks this week need to be in by Thursday @ 8PM.
  16. Salary dump for Stastny?
  17. A statistical calculated Power Rankings has the Bombers at #2. https://cflpowerrankings.wordpress.com/2018/06/26/power-rankings-after-week-2/#more-2573
  18. At 6’1”, Strevler is about 3 - 4 inches too short for the prototypical QB in today’s NFL. Combine that with going undrafted and a predisposition to giving your own draft picks more opportunity, he will be in tough to get a proper opportunity down South
