I think I've fixed the ad problem. The mobile version shouldn't extend out past the width of your screen anymore. It was the ad that was extending out, but I've changed the ad to be responsive, seems to have fixed it. There was an overhaul to the embed functionality with the 4.2 release. New setting to cap the width of embeds. I've set it to 1200 px. This is really going to be monitor dependant (though it will auto scale down if you have a smaller screen) This won't change previously embedded content, only new content. Let me know if 1200 looks too large as well.

I'd actually like to reverse the white and grey so that the main post is on white background and quoted posts on grey. But there is a graphic I need to track down and change with it.

60 - 1 with 12 minutes still left in the 4th quarter. What the heck happened to Hamilton. How much longer does Austin last?

Post count is still there. I don't think it shows in the mobile view, but it is there on a PC browser.

We can give these a try. They've been added.

The chat room is a separate app from the software itself, but there was an upgrade that was applied at the same time that I upgraded the board. Let me know if it fixes it during the next game day chat.

You can change it back to the original view by clicking the Table View next to the Start New Topic button on the main page.

New theme is uploaded and configured. It probably needs some more tweaks, so any feedback is welcome. I will probably continue to tweak it a bit as time goes by. For the new Fluid Forum View, this theme works with it properly. So if you didn't like it before, maybe try it again with a proper theme. You can select which forums you want to appear in the fluid view. I can put the stickies back to the top in fluid view, but I think there are too many stickied threads right now, it takes away from the intent of fluid view. I can put it back and see if there are any stickied threads we really don't need.

I've applied the update for the next major version of the boards software this morning. First thing you will probably notice is the formatting of some things are a little off. Nothing that makes the board unreadable, but the thread formatting where the posters name is really off. The people who make the current theme have gone out of business, so look for a new look to the board, probable some time this weekend, or as soon as I can find an appropriate one. Some of the new features: Reactions - replaces the Like feature. You can now respond to posts in a variety of ways rather then just like. Custom reaction can be added as well Fluid Forum View - Going to experiment with this one for a bit, and see if I can find a way to bring the Twitter feed back with it. You will see a box on the right hand side of forums that will let you switch between the forums and find new content faster. This basically dumps all forums into a single view so you can see new posts across forums easier, or zero in on specific forums. Give this some time to see how you like it, To change this back to the old way, go to the home page of the forum, there are now 3 boxes next to the Start New Topic button that let you choose how you prefer to view the board. Post your feedback in this thread. Miscellaneous - You will find some moderator features allow moderators to make notes or feature posts in ways they couldn't before Clubs - This is a new feature I've enabled where anyone can make a public or private club about anything they want. Still learning how this works, I've created a curling club as a test, but it seems like it is really segregated from the main board. Might need some more research on this one. Many other upgrades and features you will find throughout. Let me know if you find any issues. #1 priority will be finding a suitable new theme so that everything looks nice and pretty. I will be tweaking it throughout the weekend.

Regular Season - Bomber News, Developments & Speculation
Rich replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
And most of that is from the city failing or overestimating what they could recover from the old stadium site. Without qualifying the title of their article it really sounds like the Bombers aren't paying their mortgage payments. -
Just sending out a reminder to people who haven't picked yet that the CFL week starts early this week. First game is tonight, and voting in this thread will be closed at 6:30 PM. If you miss the cutoff, I will accept picks for games that have not yet started through PM.

Houston Aeros was also an AHL team from 1994 - 2013. They were the Wilds farm team and now in Des Moines, Iowa.

NFL is moving towards full time refs. Will be a phased in approach so they don't have all their experienced refs with other jobs quit all at once. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2699793-roger-goodell-dean-blandino-say-nfl-wants-to-move-to-full-time-referees

The changes to PI favouring offensive players was pretty much league mandated when scoring was way down a couple of years ago. League wants high scoring, no lead is safe games, and have told their refs to officiate that way. There is most definitely a consistency problem. I never know what's going to be called on replay reviews anymore, and that is a problem.

I don't mind Westwood, he can be a bit annoying when gets on some of his rants, but there are some issues going on between him and Toth. And not in a good way. Makes for some awkward radio when Westwood calls Toth out on some of the things he says and neither will let it go.

Experience leaving the stadium last night was much improved over last week. The security blocking the exit has been taken care of and was there holding the door open with a smile allowing everyone to leave rather then forcing them back into the stadium. We got an email earlier in the week that said a new plan has been put in place for exiting our parking lot (green lot). We were out of the parking lot in under a minute of getting to our car last night. There are two exits out and they split the lot so half would go out one exit, half the other, and even had cones on Chancelor Matheson so that one exit was in the far lane and the other exit in the near lane rather then everyone leaving through a single exit and into a single lane. Good on the Bombers staff and organisation for being receptive and reactive to feedback, and continuing to try and improve the game day experience. Was looking around the stadium pregame last night and compared to the setup and atmosphere to what it was in the first few seasons ... they've come a long way and have put in a lot of effort to address the issues and concerns that people have brought up. Very much appreciated.
