I guess that is the going rate for an NHL franchise as that is what Vegas paid. True North paid a reported $170 Million for the Jets in 2011 (60 of that as a relocation fee to the NHL). The problem with those contracts is they are not exact comparables (for sure with Lindholm and Slavin, didn't check Klefblom). Lindholm and Slavin signed those deals immediately after their ELC. Trouba took a bridge contract for 2 years. So if Trouba signs for similar term, you are going to have to pay for 2 extra UFA years, which will bring the overall AAV up. Expect Trouba to get more. And his contract negotiation will be anything but easy with the agent he has.

Not an unreasonable wait with that many people leaving all at once. Exiting the stadium ... whole other story. Coming down from the 200 level, going down the stairs that lead to where they setup the pregame fan area. Security guard won't let people out the door. We get funnelled into the 100 level concourse. Lots and lots of people there all trying to exit. Seems really stupid to funnel people from the upper deck in with people on the main level. Can't be up to fire code No problems leaving through that door other years. This is new and happened for the preseason game as well.

Might need some depth pieces for the Moose / callups. I would guess Sgarbossa ends up going to the Moose, Copp centres the 4th line with Connor / Lemieux / Petan, but there are some nice young pieces on the Moose that will be used for injury callups. Can see some more depth D signings for the Moose. Wondering if Nosier and Poolman would be the first to get their chance with injury callus.
