Comrie would be the next saviour. Might see him this year if both Hutch and Helle don't figure it out.

He has played a grand total of 29 games in the NHL. Have teams adjusted to him? Probably. But you have to now give him time to adjust his game and work through what they are doing. Is there a guarantee he will be able to? No. But to write him off this early in his career is ridiculous IMO. Skaters get sheltered minutes as they adjust to the speed and nuances of the NHL game. Goalies don't get that luxury. He didn't even get eased into the Pros as a backup. All his time spent in the NHL has been with significant starts. He has been stellar in the last few years at lower levels of hockey. Need to give him time to try and evolve his game.

I wouldn't call these A-List defensemen yet. These are good, young, up and coming defensemen that signed these deals after their first entry level deal. They may get to A-List in a few years, not all of them will. The exact same position Myers was in when he signed his deal. A-List D-men right now are people like Doughty ($7M), Weber ($7.8M), Keith ($5.5M - which is a steal), Subban ($9M) Enstrom is probably overpaid for what he is now, but his contract can't even compared to these guys because of all of the RFA years that were bought in those contracts. Enstrom had mostly or all UFA years in his. Myers may be a problem if / when the Jets become a cap team. Until then it doesn't matter. A $2.6M salary for Stuart for this year and next is peanuts and is splitting hairs to complain about. Both Stuart and Enstrom come off the books after next year, so those contracts are not hurting the team at all. Other then Trouba, the only contracts they need to figure out before both of these guys come off the books are Stafford (won't re-sign will free up more space), Burmi (still RFA signed for low or traded, Thorubrn - won't be re-signed, Tanev - 3rd / 4th line RFA, Postma - UFA, Chiarot - RFA won't command a big salary, Helleybuck - RFA who Atomic has decreed as AHL calibre so he will sign for peanuts as well). There are things to fix on this team for sure, but these contracts are not an issue at all.

How so?

Connor gets his shot in the top 6 after sitting out a game. Maurice doesn't want to breakup the Matthias Lowry Armia line. If they are going to keep Armia in the bottom 6, think I'd rather see Tanev with them rather than Matthias. Love the effort and hustle Tanev has on every shift.

Apology for what exactly? Did I spit in your face? Insult your Mother? If you want an autocracy where you can pronounce your words of wisdom as gospel, go start a blog.

You're right, lets settle for the known mediocrity in Pavelec because a goalie has struggled over 3 games. Lets ignore that he posted a .918 in 26 NHL games last year, .922 in 30 games with the Moose last year, and a .921 in 58 games the year prior.

Internet Explorer is a horrible product that should be burned to the ground and buried. Unfortunately a number of people have no choice in the matter.

This looks to have started happening when the latest patch was applied. A support request has been logged for this with the software vendor. Will update as I get more info.

Give him a chance, doesn't mean he needs to play centre. He'll have an easier time making it on the wing at his size. Unless thins have changed, he doesn't even play centre on the Moose.

Don't think Petan is a centre in the NHL.
-
Scheifele / Perreault would be top 6. Lowry / Copp (or Burmi) would be bottom 6

That and don't read fan message boards

This happens sometimes when there is a Tweet or YouTube embedded in posts. Those things are loaded from offsite so the page can't calculate how much space they take, so if it is a long Tweet or picture, the page can bounce down from where the new post actually starts. From the reports I've had recently, it sounds like this might be something different and only started happening recently. This one is for sure an annoying bug.

I would agree with this. Would rather see Copp at centre over Burmi.

Have had a couple of reports of the site intermittently shifting / scrolling / or sliding when pages load, but have never experienced this myself. If anyone else is seeing this and you can provide some or all of the following information, I'd appreciate it: Which browser you are using Does the thread contain unread posts when it happens How are you clicking to get into the thread (ie. clicking on the title or the 'dot' to indicate unread posts Do the new posts span more than the current page Any other common conditions you may have noticed when it does happen

They probably overpaid for Stanley but quality D-men are at a premium in the NHL right now. The overpay was less to get him at the draft then it would be to trade for an actual D down the road If you don't draft them, they are extremely hard to get. Hope the kid progresses and turns out.

I'm pretty sure it is what I stated above, where if an RFA signs late, the team gets charged the salary for the full year, rather than the partial year they played for. This would have been instituted to get rid of loop holes where a team could make a player sit out to get cap relief. And if this is what he means, then it isn't a blanket 30k per day. The amount is based on what the player ends up signs for, and if the player doesn't sign, then there would be no cap hit at all. Though I can't find that documented anywhere either ... but that makes more sense to me then penalising a team with a cap hit for an RFA sitting out.

Yesterday they were at 16k (goal is 30k) when I first looked at it. They are now at $21.5k . Nice to see the whole CFL community stepping up.
