Trouba wants out (Trouba has signed)
Rich replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
That's right. His name is not currently signed to a current NHL contract. His option is to sign with the Jets or not play in the NHL. It is way different then holding out while under contract. -
Game 4 : Leafs @ Panicking Already?
Rich replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
No it isn't that impressive. Just saw it on the Twitter feed so added it to the thread. -
It wouldn't surprise me if this was true but this last paragraph in the article, the last line totally sounds like it was written by Trump. That's how he talks.

Game 5 : Oil Wells @ All Is Well - Heritage Classic
Rich replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
It usually happens with a large picture in a tweet in one of the posts. Basically the page loads first, then it sets the position of your first unread post. The twitter content however is embedded different and loads after that, so if there is a long picture in it, your positioning gets offset. -

If the Republicans want their accusations to be believable, put in a credible candidate. The fact that it is Trump and he lies and exaggerates every time he opens his mouth, valid accusations are going to get swept away with all of his other ridiculous rhetoric.

I thought that was a valid penalty. Pretty obvious he grabbed the stick and pulled the Leaf back to get his break away. -
Miller starting contract extension talks with Walters O'Shea
Rich replied to Jpan85's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Here is an interesting stat, if O'Shea gets extended, he will be our longest serving head coach since Dave Ritchie, who made it part way into his 5th season (fired in 2004). That is 10 years of instability of the head coaching position. Ritchie - Fired in his 5th year Doug Berry - 3 years Paul LaPolice - Fired in his 3rd year Tim Burke - 1 full season as Head Coach, part season as interim when LaPolice was fired Jim Daley - 1 full season as Head Coach, part season as interim when Ritchie was fired Mike Kelly - 1 year -
Miller starting contract extension talks with Walters O'Shea
Rich replied to Jpan85's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'm okay with O'Shea at 3 years, as that is a pretty "standard" extension. You've had 3 years to evaluate what he is. If you (as in the club) are happy with him, believe he is your guy, then you make the commitment. If you don't believe he is that guy, then walk away. Walters for 5 seems a bit too much, especially given that he is already under contract next year, so you are really committing to him for the next 6 years. I'd rather that extension wait until mid season next year when we've had a chance to see if this team is for real or if this season has been a bit a blip. -
I think in general, Hillary's strategy has been to not even engage or respond to the accusations he makes because so many of them are just ridiculous and outlandish, and if she did it would quickly devolve into an argument that Donald would want. In these cases, this might be the first accusations Trump has that actually have merit (other then the email thing). Agree completely that Hillary loses against most other career politician in these debates. Although last night was probably her strongest, in general she doesn't come across as sincere. Everything seems practised, rehearsed, and planned. The good ones will use the practising and rehearsing to come across as sincere and believable.

Glad they don't. Their website is horrible and I hate having to use it.

Not a fan at all of Arash Madani on Twitter, but I think he has had some very interesting articles since joining 3downnation. His latest is the challenges teams face in developing a QB at the professional level. Some nice work in getting quotes and info from people around the league. http://3downnation.com/2016/10/18/feature-hard-develop-quarterback-cfl/ -
